My simple facts:

1. Keep manipulation to a minimum

2. The right vitamins are important

3. Keep your hair clean and conditioned

Hm...it's hard to limit it to three but here goes:

1. Airdrying using Sylver2's scarf method. I am convinced that this secret alone saved me from baldness. Thank you!

2. Learning to balance my hair's protein and moisture needs by learning the difference between these 2 kinds of products.

3. Stretching my relaxers from every 6 weeks to up to 14 weeks (interval) for my last 3 relaxers) and frequent washing, weekly light protein treatment (w/heat) to minimize breakage during that time.

LHCF has thought me soo much here are the 3 secrets that's helping me along
1- clarify, clarify, clarify
2- vitamins, they're not for the medicine cabinet
3- Diet, how important this is to our hair success, i've tightened up my eating habits even more thanks to lhcf ( I've lost 10 lbs since on this site.)

****Your overall health is the most important factor in your hair health.***

I've learned there are no quick fixes or one size fits all miracles. But being healthy(body, mind, soul) is the best thing you can do.

1.) Stretching Relaxers

2.) Moisture/Protein balance

3.) Protecting styles (whenever possible) - babying my ends

1. Using SEAMLESS combs to avoid tearing out hair

2. Air drying using Sylver's Scarf Method

3. Using equine products--esp shampoos

Oster's Aloe Shampoo for horses clarifies and cleans my hair better and
gentler without drying it than any clarifying shampoo made specifically
for humans that I've tried and it's a BIG btle for $9.99!

ditto to what everyone is saying but STAY AWAY FROM THE HARD WATER.
Buy yourself distilled water.
