A rinse is a semi permanant dye that rinses out over time. I've never had a permanant dye. I did have a black rinse once upon a time that had a blue hue in the sun. I think it was Jazzin. I liked it when my hair was fresh, but as the rinse washed out it left a green hue to my ahir when I was in the sun

. Now I only get black rinses that have a red undertone so it doesn't cast green when it's getting old.

I know the feeling I tookout a few braids & was suprised to find out I will be able to claim Armpit length the next time I take out my braids. :grin:
