Hello,

I just have to share what happened to me today and I still don't understand why. Well to make a long story short, one of my co-workers goes to this lady who does hair out of her house. Now, I will admit this girl really can do some hair and I believe that she has been to cosmetologly school. Also, she is cheaper than the average hairdresser.

Well, today I called my coworker to ask re: me getting my hair done. She was able to get an appointment for me. When I got to the girl's house- I spoke courtesly and asked "HOw are you doing? She looked at me like I was crazy and didn't respond back. (My dumb behind should of left then). Well, then she shampoos my hair etc. and begins to rollerset my hair. She barely says two words to me the entire time that I was there. AFter she had finished I thanked her for doing my hair, she said absolutely nothing. Is it me or is that just plain out rude?

My hair looks okay, but I felt like the girl didn't like me for some reason and I can't figure out why. Now, this is the not the first time I have been to this girl's house to get my hair done. She just seemed downright hateful for some reason .

I would not trust her with my hair again. If she is THAT distant, with a paying customer (in house, or in shop), I would be afraid to catch her on a bad day, ya know?

i wouldnt go back....at the very least you can be curteous to someone who is giving you their hard earned money!

Leave that fool at the foot of the cross!:yep:

I feel like I know this lady! If it's the same person, she is the reason I have to cut all of my hair off and start over. She literally burned me with the pressing comb and didn't say anything when I flinched. She tore chunks of my hair out with the blowdryer/comb attachment. I feel like crying just thinking about it.
DO NOT GO THERE EVER AGAIN

If there's one thing I despise, it's rude and wishy-washy people. Love me or hate me. I wouldn't go back. Mean heifer.

In a business like doing hair, it certainly doesn't pay to be mean and evil. I wouldn't bother going back to her. :nono:

Well, I have decided not to go back, even though she is cheap.

Good....there are other cheap hairdressers who will treat you right. Soon she'll be out of business. Customer is always KING as she'll find out.

That's right...
Pick up your torch on the right side of the room, they will be lighted on the left side as you leave...
Music sheets of "Burn Baby Burn" will be handed out in front of the room...:band:
:fallenang

Yikkkeessss!!! :perplexed :perplexed

What the hell is wrong with her. I would have been very uncomfortable too. I would never go back again. She is a damn mess!! There is no explantion for her behavior. She is not professional at all.

My sister does hair out of her house too, but she caters to her clients by making them feel comfortable. I would be afraid to let her handle my hair....never go back.

Wow. I wouldn't go back. I hate going to places where I don't feel welcomed. Maybe she thought you was the one that was eyeing her man or something *shrugs*. Anyways that's life. You always meet someone who doesn't like you for one reason or another.

Nawl hon, don't go back. It aint worth it saving a few bucks. She was so distant and didn't have manners. It's obvious that she didn't get a care about you or your hair...luckily you wasn't getting a touch-up or a trim or i bet you wuold have had to show your ***.... I would not have left her a tip....i bet she would have spoke up then.

And if you want to avoid the 'salon scene' but still like getting your hair done. i'd suggest going to one of the national chains like Cost Cutters, Hair cuttery, or even wal-mart, or jcpenneys. their salons are walk-ins and if they are overbooked or got alot folks lined up, they'll let u know upfront. I had one spanish lady from hair cuttery put in my mizani perm and she did the darn thang, ya heard! and she rollerset my hair like the world was about to end. i can't wait to go back...i just been a lil busy (lazy). I still didn't price only the rollerset but their prices start at $16-25 depending on length. so that's just as cheap.... i'm tellin yall, i been sleeping on these national chains forever, but i think that now they will become my best friend.....

I completely agree w/ you! Rudeness is just unacceptable!

Rudeness should never be rewarded with money. I have had too many rude hairdressers, that's why I learned to do my hair myself.
