You weren't wrong. You can ask your husband to buy what you need. His mom has a hang up, so that's her problem. My SO has no problem buying them. I prefer to get my own because there are so many and he might be confused unless I write down all the specifics down to box color/unscented vs. scented etc.

Was with my former 20 years so of course there was a time or 2 i needed him to make a run for whatever reason. And the reason is unimportant. He was amenable and happy to feel useful. would even pick up pamprin or sweets to ease the other synptons too. I would expect the next SO to make the rare emergency run too.
 
I've asked my fiance and he's never reacted badly. He even buys me chocolate and Midol without being asked. But I currently have a contraceptive implant so I haven't had my period in about 8 months and won't be until I turn 25 :drunk::drunk::drunk:
