Last night I went to the store and bought some hair supplies...I found the mesh rollers *i think i got them too big, but i didn't get to use them*, Colourshines in coffee bean, and Aphogee.
So, my plan is to wash my hair *first wash after phyto*, use the aphogee, and put in a colorshines. So everything is going well, I wash with Nioxin, I apply the Aphogee, I do the directions for applying tint, so I apply the aphogee let harden under the dryer, rinse out, apply the tint *colorshines* and get under the dryer.
So, I'm in my bedroom with the tv going, the dryer going, and my space heater going. Suddenly everything goes black, I'm thinking my power went out until I look in my hallway and see the light on. I BLEW THE FUSES IN MY BEDROOM!!! So, I schlep my dryer into the living room and continue my colorshines treatment. I go into the bathroom to wash the colorshines out and I flip the switch, NOTHING! Apparently the bedroom and bathroom fuses are connected. So, I have to do everything in the dark to the light of the hallway. This rules out rollersetting, esp. with rollers I've never used before, so I do the scarf method.
This morning I have an important work event to go to and I have no electricity in my bathroom, so I bump my hair with the ceramic in my kitchen while looking in the handheld mirror. *Did I say I woke up late because in moving my alarm clock I accidently set it for PM instead of AM* So, I only have time to do the back bottom portion of my hair and I put the rest up in a French Twist.
I almost fall in my complex because of lingering ice and I'm wearing heels instead of the Timbs I wore the other day since I'm going to an event. I get to the event about 5 minutes late & am directed to the wrong table, but hey this guy sitting there was happy about it. During the break at 10:15, I move to my table. I was telling my co-worker in the bathroom line about my night and morning and happily this other lady in line said I looked good, esp. to have done all this in the dark!
So, anywho Kaddy you were right the coffee bean colorshines, does look black in my hair...although I've still only looked into a lighted bathroom once today! My hair felt amazing after my first wash with Phyto and I'm alive, so all is well.
