Will this break my hair??

What do you guys think about using baby brushes on your hair. I wet style my hair alot, especially bunning. I was looking for something to help me lay my hair down a bit better. i do use the scarf method but i am looking for something a bit more.


what do you think?? ( dont mind the comb lol)

I just use a regular old boar bristle brush. My hair would laugh at a baby brush. What is that one made out of?

oh i have no idea, that was just a picture i got from online. Im scared of brushes, is the boar bristle soft, i feel like it would tear my hair. That is why i came up with the baby brush idea.

I guess it couldn't hurt to try it. I assume that a baby brush would have very soft, gentle bristles. I find that a boar bristle brush works fine for me. I just make sure to brush gently and I've never had any trouble with it.

@ SEMO: baby brushes do have very soft bristles. im going to have to look into boar bristle brushes. thanks... ps your hair is gorgeous curly and straightened.

Is there any reason why you need to use a brush? I see you like combs (so do I). I don't use brushes. Don't see/have a need for them and I don't trust them.

Many people use brushes but that's because they serve a purpose such as helping detangle. If you have managed so far without it, I say don't fix what isn't broke(n). But if you feel a need for one, then by all means get one but find out why one's preferred over another so you get the one viewed as safest for your hair.

I use one for my edges. The bristles are super soft and I have no damage from it. I threw out my old plastic bristle brush. That thing had my hairline shredded!
