Some people push phyto. Some people push oil. I choose to push Caruso. Only Caruso can bring you from this:

In under 10 minutes. So go holla at your neighborhood Sally's so you can go from geek to chic, too. ^_^ The rest of the pics from this set are in my album.

I am glad you posted this because my beautician recommended these to me today. I was already prepared to dish out the cash at Ms. Sally's on tomorrow. Great photos. Luvin' it!! Thanks Girl!!

Gorgeous hair and curls, Starian! :yep:

Do you have the ion Caruso rollers? I have the 'regular' ones because I couldn't find the ion ones near me.

I have the regular ones. I didn't even know the ion ones existed until now, :P.

I am glad to see that you are getting great results with your regular ones, too. I love mine! When I needed to replace my old set and read about the ion ones, of course I wanted them. But, I am very happy with the ones I have. :)

ETA that the color of your hair is pretty, too.

Starian,
When you use your curlers what do you do to the hair? Do you put any products in? What's the routine? And can you use steam curlers on wet hair?

I was basically experimenting with how the rollers work this time. My hair is dirty...it's been about 4 days since I washed it...no products added since the day I washed it (I used Motions Nourish and Sebastians Potion 9 as a leave in, anything l;eft on my hair is residual product buildup). Just dry hair in need of a wash and relaxer. No, I don't believe you can use the Caruso rollers on wet hair...it seems like it would defeat the purpose of the steam action. I could be wrong though.

I think this is like a good product for those horrible hair days when you can't get your hair to do anything...you have practically instant volume, texture, and body.

Your hair looks very silky and smooth. I would love to try these caruso rollers but I'm not sure if they will work on my transitioning hair. Are these steam rollers? Any naturals or transitioners care to add a review?

Ok...now that I've stopped drooling over your hair. What is the exact name of the set you bought and how much do they cost?:sekret:

Your curls turned out really nice. I was laughing at all the little blurbs you have under your pics. You a mess, girl!
Question? Do your curls last all day?

Wow!! Your hair looks AWESOME!! I'm going to try them out this morning, I've had mine for a year and have NEVER used them. :spank:

Thanks for sharing! Off to get the Caruso's outta the top of the closet! :sekret:

Starian, I have a question for you. Do you use a setting lotion or foam? If so, is it diluted? And do you apply it directly to your hair or do you put it in the "water"? I know that everyone has their different methods. I'm trying to figure out which one I'll try first when I get my very own Carusos!

Very, VERY nice! I had a set when I was relaxed, but NEVER used them (maybe once). I really should have taken advantage of them. I'm trying to sell my other relaxed friends on them instead of flat ironing and using curling irons multiple times a week.

I have a ion set similar to Caruso and I love mine. I would make two ponytails (part ear to ear) and put a couple rollers on the ends, let them dry then when I took them out BOOM instant rollerset in about 15 mins.

Your hair looks great Starian.

Gorgeous Starian! I have some but haven't used them yet. I hope I get results like that when I do use them.

So question...may seem dumb but does the center section of those steam rollers get really hot? I remember my sister had hot rollers eons ago and I accidentally touched the center and it burned me. I have no idea how to roll my hair on them with only touched the ends of the rod.

Starian-

Is your hair relaxed bone straight? I'm wondering because my hair is kind of texlaxed and has some wave/curl to it. I'm wondering if Caruso rollers will work on my hair or if the steam would make it curl up?

Thanks for posting! But beware, the fine print on the coupons says void if reproduced so you'll need to get the actual coupon in the store from the flyer. Cooincidentally, that's the same set I have that bought from someone here on LHCF! Thank you!
Ok thanks for info.
