Who here keeps a hair journal?

I'm finally noticing that this is a feature of LHCF . . . I don't do anything spectacular with my hair to merit a journal, but I'm thinking that it might be helpful for me to keep a record of what products I use and how my hair turns out.

Who else here has an LHCF hair journal?

Oops I didn't read it right! Sorry ... nope I don't have an LHCF journal.

i dont really use the lhcf journal, but i sure use my paper back planner...everyday of the month, there is an "activity" related to hair :lachen:

it's usually just a reminder to moisturize though :)

I don't have a LHCF journal, but I do keep a "hair journal" using a small day planner. It helps me keep track of when my protein treatments, henna, trims, relaxers etc. are due. I also write down when I try new products and how I liked them. I also write down mixes and recipes so I don't forget them. If I notice something strange or different going on with my hair, I jot it down so I can keep track of it in case it becomes a problem or so I can try to pinpoint what I was doing/using at that time. It really helps if you are serious about growing and improving your hair.

I started using it to post my regimen and products, articles, etc for future reference, but there's been problems with being able to edit your entries lately, so I've just been journaling on my Fotki. I also make product comments on wash day in my hard copy hair binder...Most of my findings for my regimen are in my hair binder.

I have on not on site but on my computer that is about 320 pages long. It is going on 2 years now and I keep everything and anything in there.

Product reviews
Recipies
Tips and tricks
Issues with my hair
Regimens and change ups
Pictures of those I want to grow up and be like
Hair Book reviews
Information about different sites regarding hair.

I have everything in that journal about my hair journey.

I use mine but all entries are private. I use it to keep track of how new products work for me. Most importantly I keep it as like a little inspiration for me. It keeps me motivated when I feel I'm having a bad hair day or it's not growing or whateva. I will just look back at a day when my hair did something I wanted it to do perfectly or it shined exceptionally well or something. Is that sad :ohwell:? It works for me though

I keep an LHCF journal. I keep track of all of my trims, product wish lists, deep conditioner sessions, protein treatments etc. It's been really helpful.

I've been using the journal feature on here since I joined. I use to document what products I have tried, kept, trashed, etc. and anything hair related like links to threads from here and other places. It's also fun to see how my regimen has changed and some parts have still stayed the same over time and what I was doing when I first joined as to what I do now.

I have a journal, but not here.... though I have been thinking about starting one here, but I barely keep up with the one I have.

I keep a spiral bound journal. I keep it like a lab book and each week is my experiment. I note products, mixtures, techniques and results. During the week, if something notable happens, I will write something like hair was dry, used__, and if it helped, etc. Lately its been moreso the details of my wash.

I don't keep an lchf journal, but I do keep one on my fotki page. Mainly after I try something new or get a relaxer. It helps me remember what additions worked for my hair and which ones I won't be trying again

I don't have an LHCF journal but I do keep a blackbook journal. I jot down everything about my hair. What products I used for a particular washing, how did it work, combinations of product, etc. My journal has been really helpful because I can go back and see what combo of products worked for me and what didn't work.
