Who Else Has 3 Different Textures

I have mostly defined 3c from ear to ear and back. But the front is kinky, moisture resistant 2c. I think I've found a good reggie with bunning and specific products though (after 6 years of struggling)

I have multiple textures also -- I am relaxed and notice some of my strands are lighter than others...kinda looks sandy brown color when my actual hair color is black. I've searched threads and my results suggest I have sun damange. I do live in FL so this could be correct.

How are relaxed ladies dealing with this? I've been adding additional moisturizer in those places when M&S b/c those sandy browns strands are very thirsty and soak up moisture like I haven't applied nan (no) product there.

I have tons of different textures and curl patterns on my head. You can see them in a thread I made this week http://www.longhaircareforum.com/showthread.php?t=490584. I mostly do wash and gos. The only thing I really do differently with the textures are the more frizz prone parts get some gel and the drier parts get extra leave in.

One tip that a stylist gave me was using one of the metal clips (i don't know what they're called but they have a spring that u squeeze to open and close) and attach those to the ends of my hair so that it stretches the curl while it dries while still maintaining a curly shape. I don't do it often because of pure laziness and my hair has grown alot so idc about shrinkage anymore, but when I did, I used hair pins and it worked great.

HTH!

I had the same problem. My hair is a really dark brown but my ends or certain parts of my hair would be a light brown. I made sure to put all products in that area first so they wouldnt get forgotten. I also would seal only those areas with sweet almond oil. When I put the oil on all of my hair, the dark brown parts would get weighed down and limp. I also use SCurl to moisturize and thats been working great.

3c at the sides by my ears. 4a mostly everywhere else. Don't know what the hell is going on at the crown cus nothing makes it soft, its crunchy and dry and has no definition at all.

Sounds just like my hair! Right now it's 4-5 inches all around. The rest of my head loves BKT but the "crunchy crown" doesn't take it well at all :nono:. I hope I can manage it better when it's longer...

the very back of my hair is 4b.
the front is 4a
the hair in the middle is 3c
the hair at the crown is 4a

and i am so scared to go natural because I wouldn't know how to blend this mess.

I have 3a and 3b mixed on the right, 3c in the middle, and 3b on the left... it's crazy... I distribute moisture on my hair according to type so it is balanced....i.e. more moisture on the center, then the left side, and little on the right.:drunk:

i do! i haven't determined my hair type completely yet...but i think i have 4 on my head...

the edges are 4b
the front is a mixture of coarse and silky 4a/3c and 3b
the back is a mixture of silky 3c with coarse patches of 4a on the sides

i have come to terms with wash and go's not working out for me
