I found out about LHCF from another hair board that I luckily stumbled upon when googling hair care information. I think it was hairboutique. I lurked her for about a year because I refused to pay, lol. Thank God I found this place.

I found my precious from a search engine. Forget which. The board was free then and has evolved into so much more than just hair. Worth every penny. I :infatuated: LHCF!

I would have to thank all the ladies that were Features of the Month before April 2004. Seeing those pictures turned me onto LHCF.

I like this thread. The way everyone is answering reminds me of when someone ask "so how did you and your husband meet?". I guess in a way many of us have a love affair with LHCF:grin:.

I found it through a google search for long hair.

BHM. They were always talking about the girls over at LHCF. I was being nosey and this is how I found it.

The internet hooked me up. Thanx internets!
I was searching for product reviews on CD adn happened upon this site.

 Yes, it is a love affair. Its so great to see so many black women in love with their hair!

oh I know she is tired of me saying this but I have to thank Jenteel. I saw her picture on another site( either MotownGirl.com or Nappturality.com) which linked to her Fotki and she kept saying how helpful LHCF was so I had to be nosy ! Thanks JENTEEL :bighug:

my bald spot...which is no longer with us. God rests its soul.

 jk. I'm glad that thing is gone!

I would say me (ok, and Google), just being totally disgusted with my hair at the time. I sat down at the computer and Googled in "how to growth healthy black hair" (or something similar to that), and a link from this site popped up. I found the homepage and rest is history, so to speak. :yep:

Me too! Was a lurker since 2005

I went to Barnes & Noble, and bought a book by Shamboosie called "Beautiful Black Hair". In my effort to find out more about managing, maintaining, and growing my own hair, I did a google search and this site came up. So glad to be part of the "healthy hair growers" family!!

I have my formerly dry *** hair for prompting me to want to do something about it. That and yahoo led me to this wonderful board and all you ladies. Because of this board my hair has a love affair with

All things Keracare
Cantu Shea Butter
Elasta Mango Butter
MN
Water (again)
Co-Washes
and last but not least

Priscilla Inez Beatrix Bishop (aka PIBBS)!
