Which type of hair do you prefer in wigs/weaves/extensions?

It depends, with my sew ins or micro braids i like 100% human but if im getting kinky twists or long corn rows that I usually roll into a side bun I get synthetic hair.

What makes you prefer the synthetic hair for twists over human? I'm seriously thinking about kinky twists.

synthetic all the way. I couldn't stand knowing i had another person's hair on my head. I also love kanekalon in particular for braids, coz I can wear them curly one week, and then straight the next.

for weaves I love Virgin human hair
for wigs I like the human/synthetic mix or just the synthetic cause I dont want to have to style or take care of it; just shake and go

human hair for weave and synthetic hair braids especially for kinky twist and cornrows. I used to use human hair for everything but I realize that synthetic hair holds better w/ braids better than human also it's cheaper. I have never tried synthetic hair for weaves though so I don't know how it will hold up.

Right now im in love with the Freetress Equal Weave(synthetic).... I get the "Romance Curl" 18" color#1. The curls are so lush and vibrant like real human hair and last about a good 3 months provided you keep them brushed into place.

I prefer Human(indian virgin,processed yaki) for weaves or micro braids but I don't mind wearing nice looking synthetic brands like Batik or Kanubia. I like to create different looks quickly and human hair allows me to do that. I can go straight ro curly with the same install. Some styles are better with synthetic because you don't have to worry about the curls falling.
