So, I just posted a request for photos here and I realized I very much prefer to see hair photos of DIYers on LHCF or even YT versus seeing professional hair photos from mags or online elsewhere.

I feel so much more of an "hey, i could do that" vibe when I see what our creative/talented LHCFers do with their hair versus what a professional did on a model...

Just curious how you all feel.

Which do you prefer?

LHCF pix?

Pro pix?

Or does it not matter to ya....

I like DIY photos. I can see peoples progress and if I have a question about the style a DIY'er will generally respond

^^^^OMG that was hilarious. Bless his heart he likes turtles. I was thinking about pressing the turtle key too.....

I should've voted for turtles LOL

I would rather see DIY'r pictures because at least I can reach out to that person and ask questions. The professional ones are usually photoshopped, weird or wigs.

there are so many weaves/wigs in black hair mags, i can't really relate. i mean, i love weaves/wigs, but the advice doesn't always translate to real hair. i feel like any style tutorial about Beyonce's hair should start with: "buy custom made, expensive lacefront. apply. THEN tong or flat-iron or whatever."

**Halee chants** TURTLES!!!! TURTLES!!!! TURTLES!!!! :)

Answering your question, I prefer DIY phots because they seem more real to me. Hardly any pro photos are untouched these days. Plus, I am more likely to get my questions answered.

I voted turtles lol but yeah I like to see any and all hair photos. DIY and otherwise.
