I've never tried KeraCare, but I'd choose it over Nexxus ANY day. Nexxus dried and tangled my hair terribly. Therappe, Humectress, Headress, all horrible. Keraphix didn't do anything for my breakage. It was just garbage for me. I gave the stuff away and never looked back.

Really....I hear so many different people praising this brand I wanted to give it a try.

I've tried Nexxus Therappe and Humectress. They did nothing for my hair and they made it feel dry. I love Keracare Hydrating Detangling shampoo. It makes my hair feel soft after I use it. I hear so many good things about the Humecto conditioner, so I will be buying that next.

I read in Shamboosie book that Nexxus is good hair product, therfore I bought it, and I don't really care for it, the shampoo that it, :nono:I use the Botanical and it leaves my hair dry and it feel stripped of all moisturizer, and it doesn't lather well, however the Nexxus Humstress Moisturizer is outstanding :grin:I follow up w/ it after the shampoo, and its wonderful. I like the Nexxus Therappe too it doesn't make my hair feel as dry. I haven't tried the Keracare, I probally try it and see what it is like. The shampoo that it.

My hair laughs at Nexxus. KeraCare works better for me, although neither brand is a personal fave for me.

I like Nexxus better for my dd's hair! I've tried Keracare conditioner on her hair, and it did nothing.

I'll try Keracare one day for my hair. Nexxus is ok on my hair. I like Kenra MC products better.

I voted for Nexxus....never had a problem with it when I did use it(except the Aloe rid treatment which dried the mess out of my hair)

Keracare dried my hair out

For me it's KeraCare hands down, I've been using it for the past 3 months and my hair is really thriving. I have quite a few items from the line. I have been using the Hydrating and Detangling shampoo and Humecto consistently on wash days. Every now and again I'll switch up and use Moisturizing shampoo for itchy scalp. I also have the moisturizers, the creame in the jar (and I seal with JoJoba oil) and the one in the bottle with JoJoba oil (no sealing needed), and the silk and seal (haven't used that yet). I want to try the reconstructor and the leave in but I haven't been able to pull myself away from my Lacio Lacio :yep:.

Admittedly, I've mixed EVOO and JBCO in with the Humecto for an extra boost and I really like my results. Wash days consist mostly of one wash with a clarifying shampoo and one wash with the Hydrating and Detangling shampoo, dc...I use different conditioners for that, and then I follow that with the Humecto mix for about 45 min with a plastic cap no heat.

I've used Nexus in the past and wasn't really impressed with it. I wanted to give it a chance..... I would buy it use it a couple of times and give it away.......rebuy it and use it a couple of times then give it away...you get the point. I wanted it work well for me because it's suppose to be a such a quality product. The one product that I will revisit by Nexus is the emergence. HTH

I have not used Nexxus yet, but bought a Keracare moisturizing conditioner yesterday. I love this stuff. It was like I was putting silk on my hair. I'm a believer. I know that Marcherieamour uses this line, so I thought I would give it a try. I'm glad I did.

I think it depends on the indiviuals hair. I used Humecto for many years successfully and one day it stop working on my hair even after I clarified. When I was more bone straight I had greater success but as I cut and had more natural and textlax texture it didn't cut it for me.

Nexxus Humectress now is working for me but I have to leave it on for 1-2 hours w/ cap and no heat for at least 15 minutes of heat w/ cap. My hair feels moisturized and full of elasticity

I also use the Nexxus Phyto Organics line and i can NOT live without it. When I was getting relaxer's KeraCare was the best for my hair. When I started transitioning to my natural hair, after a few month's my hair did not take to KeraCare like it used to. It was never as soft as it used to be. I started using the Nexxus Phyto Organic Extreme Moisture conditioner and it made a world of a difference. I also started using ultra-hydrating shampoo from Biolage and they both restored moisture back into my hair. I am now 10 month's post relaxer and half of my head is natural and these two products work the best for me.

Keracare made my hair shed and the conditioner was crap. I use keracare shampoo and Nexxus hydrasleek conditioner. That combo is the best for my hair :yep:

I use the Nexxus Phyto Organics line EXCLUSIVELY and LOVE it!!!

I have used both and like Nexxus products a bit better. I like the Humectress conditioner and the Humectress Luxe leave-in. My hair is ALWAYS soft afterwards!

A couple of months ago I wanted to look into getting the Phyto Organics line. However, I can't seem to find it in stores. Do you buy it online, or have you been able to find it in stores (and if so, which ones)?

Keracare- i'm not a fan of the humecto, but the hydrating detangling poo is GREAT, and nexxus did nothing but dry my hair out too...the theratin, humectin, and the humectress-all get a BOOOOO from me

I picked Keracare because it was better on my hair than Nexxus. I use Joico and L'oreal Vive Pro Hydra Gloss thingy (just the con) for moisture though.

I've used both. I love Nexus Humectress mixed with evoo as a daily moisturizer. I tried Keracare Humecto and it was great for a week or two and then my hair started drying because it doesn't like cones. I do like Keracares dry and itchy scalp conditioner.

Nexxus for some reason works well on my daughters hair but does nothing for me. So I buy Nexxus for her. Keracare works okay in both our heads, so I voted for Keracare

This just seems like one of those things you're gonna have to try for yourself. because, it seems like both brands are either good for one head but not the other, and vice versa. some ppl hate one, but the other is perfect. and it seems like a pretty close race. although from the stats (as of now), most says Kera Care, but you may end up being the one whose hair hates it. LOL. I actually wanted to know this myself, but from the looks of things, its a close one. I guess i will have to try them both as well.

My hair stylist used it on my hair last month and last Saturday just to appease me. He doesn't like the way it feels on my hair, and he has to work harder.

He even told me to touch it while I was at the shampoo bowl, and I didn't like the way it felt either. It doesn't have enough "slip or detangler agents;" therefore, he recommends that I bring back the Cream of Nature (Ultra Moisturizing/Detangler formula).
