What's the worst product you ever used:

Well I have been traumatized by texturizing my hair with Just for me texture softener .I Have two inches of straight hair and four inches of curly ends.which are now breaking off.
Never again.I will stick to Motions mild mixed with wgo going forward: Starting all over again because of this product and the Dominican salon trim.
I am really sad.

I know a salon full of APL and longer ladies that primarily use and relax with Motions who would beg differ, myself included.
 
Elasta QP Glaze---horrible, I'll stick to my JAM for slicking my hair back

Oil Sheen--it really does not to anything good for my hair that i can tell
 
Dr. Miracles Nape and Temple Grow balm.

It literally BURNED the skin on my ear off. Ill never use it again. EVER!

Ill steer anyone who asks away from it.

Besides they don't list their ingredients, they have the WORST customer service EVER and their commercials are demeaning and stupid.

So yeah. Dr. Miracles...

wowowowow...I can't speak for the rest of the Motions line, but that CPR is my stuff!! Sorry you guys don't like it.:(


Anything by Rusk. My hair is not hard by nature and it dries hard using this line.

I can't say they're the worst, but Nexxus products have been repeat disappointments (the salon products, not phyto organics line). These are the only products I've used, then had to turn around and start over again.
 
you mean besides pink oil moisterizer????
me and motions arent friends either. I used them faithfully and was dry as the desert
 
Motions made my hair feel like :barf:... I loved EQP Glaze when I was relaxed but JAM? Oh no... :nono: The worst product I've ever used was EQP Feels Like Silk.

Motions relaxer is what forced me to cut off all my hair and go natural years ago. It's something awful and yes, reserved for the deepest part of hell for me...
 
weaves.... did it once,, never again. broke my shoulder length hair off to barely 3inchs neck lenght.

get it straight by KMS.... dry dry dry flaky hair. horrible stuff.

dove conditoners.... did they just put water in the bottle? it did nothing for my hair

The worse product is carolsdaughter aka the devils daughter hair elixir! Jesus christ where do I start that thing made so much knots in my hair, how in gods name does a products make knots and dreds in a persons hair, that's what that thing did,

I would say that the worse products that I have used since joining LHCF is Fantasia IC gel, that mess dried my hair out beyond belief...I don't believe that gels are for me.

I do have to say that I love motions line of products! They have worked great for my hair, although I used the mild relaxer with oil moisturizer and it did NOTHING for my hair...I am oh so hesistant to claim my hair is texturized...lol

Any thing by Revlon, make-up and creme of nature. I washed with the "moisturizing" shampoo and it turned my hair into a massive dredlock...WTF????? I tried the reconstructor, same damn thing!!! Never again, the relaxer gave me so many scabs!!! I HATE REVLON!!!

Elasta...Glaze dripped down my forehead and into my eyes, taught I was going blind!!! Looked liked I had Jherri juice all over me...never again...Oh and let's not forget Feels like silk jel...more like feel like hay, it was horrible and smelled like Mens' cologne.

Silk Elements heat protector DID NOT protect...more like ducked outta tha way! hair felt burned and dry. and it made my skin itch.:nono:

I agree. Well, I cannot say they are the worse, but weaves are what brought me here. I know some ladies get good help from them, but they did more harm than good for me. I am still trying to get over the layers I had to cut in to get my hair even barely normal.

OMG! :eek: Are you talking about the liquid spray one? That stuff was BAD. My hair dried hard and dry!! It felt like I had used spritz!! I had to re condition my hair and start over after trying that crap!!! I threw it out!
 
10 en 1 and silicon mix

My hair hated both. I tried them a couple times. The second time around I made sure I clarified. The first time was a tangle mess and the second time was worse:eek: :nono: . NEVER EVER AGAIN!

I actually tried other dominican products as well. My hair really just wasn't having it. These are the things that are raved about. Unfortunately, it just didn't work for me.
 
SHEA BUTTER!! It is the Worst, it made my hair hard as a Brick and Greasy no matter how small of an amount I use, to me it is just like Mineral Oil/Petroleum it is heavy and hard to wash off, I don't know who said that Shea Butter works for Natural hair, But for Miss NappyParadise it does NADA! But since it makes my hair hard, I might try to use it for a Dry Rollerset in the Wintertime, it might make my rollerset stay Firm LOL!!!!!!
