What's the longest time you've been away from LHCF?

I'm not talking a couple of days (or in my case couple of hours!)

I just came back from a 7 month hiatus from this website. I didnt realize how much I depended on this site until I came back--with hair issues!!!

There are times when situations in life actually become bigger than LHCF and we have to step back and deal with them. That's what happened with me.

I'll be saying this for at least the next 2 months:

I am SO glad to be back!!!

4 months pretty much. School and MCAT had the best of me. I think started logging back on a couple weeks before my MCAT I took in May. But it really showed that I hadn't been on here because I was disappointed with my 10 month progress pics (in siggy).

ABOUT A MONTH OR TWO, WHEN IM WORKING FULL TIME IN THE SUMMER SO I CAN AFFORD THOSE EXPENSIVE TEXT BOOKS FOR THE FALL. BEFORE I WENT INTO HIDDING I READ SO MANY THREADS TO HOLD ME OVER. IM IN BRAIDS RIGHT NOW SO I SHOULD BE I GOOD SHAPE.

It has been about 2 months, But I come and read to get tips but I don't post because the site is just loaded with great info, but in 2008 I will be able to get in and post more, But I have been preparing for my 12 year old daughter to have Spinal Surgery and you know that can take a toll on you, But I always miss the ladies here, but I do come and read the stickys if I need help LOL!!!!

Wow sorry to hear about your daughter. I will be praying for a successful surgery and recovery. We are praying our daughter won't need one for her leg. Hugs!!! Q

Welcome back OP!!! I think the longest I've been away was about 3 to 4 weeks. And even then, I'd log on and then not come back for like another week or two. But I've been back strong for the past month or so.

5-6months... really got on this year then went away for almost 3 months then back in full force in June and I'm NOT going anywhere! ok might leave u lot when I get to waist length in about 2-3 years

The longest I was away was during finals last May... so about 2 weeks...

I took a 5 month break last year to focus on career goals. I missed this place and I was so glad to get back!

I plan to take a short hiatus this year again for job training. I'm still trying to move up the ladder at work!
