Your favorite hair care product was discontinued. There was no way to buy it in bulk, There was no alternative to this product because it worked that good. Nothing compares to it. So what would you do?

My awnser: I would start making my own stuff.

Curl up in a fetal position and cry  and then i would probably have to make my own product. There aren't many products that my hair likes and i don't wanna make it angry  !

Well this has happened a couple times for me so there isn't much you can do but move on and find something similar.

Problem was that i had no idea that the company changed the formula. Had i known, i would've bought about 20 bottles.

I already stocked up on ORS Replenishing cause they changed the ingredients..which reminds me to go scout some more BSS's to clear their shelfs. I'm too scared to try to the new formula and be disappointed. But i have found backups.

First, search locally like crazy then reach out on-line. Could not find it? I'd look for a product with similar properties, other than that...do without. SURGE was the last big favorite loss.

This happened to me. I LOVED Excelle 2 Minute Reconstructor and the shampoo by Dark and Lovely. I still haven't found anything that treated my hair so well. It made my hair silky, shiny, and strong. It was like $2.99, too. I called the company when I found out it was discontinued and found out they didn't make it anymore. I went to every BSS to get all they had. My stash lasted about 2 years. Since then I have been on a quest for something = or better, but no luck. I even tried other Dark and Lovely products, nothing has compared.

This has happened to me with Several Lipsticks that I've Loved. But never a Hair Product. (and I hope it doesn't):nono:

I also wrote & called the Company and stalked every store and stockpiled what they had left in every store that carried it. Even looked on e-bay, but they wanted a ga-zillion dollars for it. +shipping.:ohwell:

And I too, have never come close to finding another color like it. Or for that matter, even close to it.

It is a very painful, disturbing thing to go through.
