I dont really set a time limit for me to reach my goal..why.. my goal is MBL unstrecthed..and I know i'm a slow grower, so for me to set a time limit would just be nerve racking. I just take the growth as it comes...
Yeah...I'm kind of thinking, if I don't make my goal of MBL 2010, I'm still going to keep growing! I, of all people know that my goals are quite lofty and I love making them that way because it keeps me focused, but not reaching isn't going to stop me from moving forward...
I think I'd be bummed for a few minutes but I'd get over it. I am new to this so I have no clue what my hair likes or how much it grows each month. The fun part is learning all of this. My hair is so much healthier now and I will never go back to treating it the way I was. There is no quitting when it comes to taking care of my hair.
I'm not giving up till I make WL! If I still don't reach my goal by the end of the year I will just change my technique and start over again. I just might have to breakdown and weave up my hair. I was really hoping to achieve my goal without weaves, but I'll do what I have to next year to reach my goal!!!!
i will appreciate whatever length/health i have accomplished by 12.31.10 but that doesn't mean i won't feel bad. It's mainly my stress level keeping me at such an awk stage of no growth, so i will wonder what if...but move on.
i second prospurr4 I make two goals: ideal (what i would like) and a more probable one (add a month or two cushion to mark the time when I would need a really good excuse not to have made the goal) I should be nearing MBL according to my initial goals...i didn't anticipate a BC 6mos into my journey but hey....c'est la vie
