I want people to look at my hair and be BLINDED by that shine :bling::lol:

I tried a henna gloss, but I don't appreciate having my hair smell like hay. I did get some extra shine and a slight color change though! Great option if you don't mind the henna smell for a few days.

The one time I tried jazzing, my hair shed/broke more than normally. Is there another product similar to jazzing that I can use? I know about the sebastian colorshines... anything else?

I'm also thinking about mixing a rinse with a cheapie conditioner. I guess that the last time I tried, it dried my hair out some and that was the cause of the breakage... maybe mixing it with V05 would help.

beyond the normal sheen that i used to have .. the only thing that gave me that bling was henna ...and i did not see results after one application either

Shine is a result of the cuticle laying flat along the hair shaft, not determined by whatever product is being applied. If you wear your hair in a naturally curly style, the light cannot hit the areas where it bends and curves. That's why it appears dull. Not because it is dull. So if you straighten it, you will then see the shine. I think that's part of why people love straight hair so much. Hope this helps.

Frederic Fekkai Salon Glaze. If you go to the website now, you can probably still get a free sample.

I disagree to some extent. While it IS true straight hair reflects light more efficiently I have gone from straight to natural and my hair is ALWAYS shiny. My naps, waves, curls, and straight locks shined from inner health and from glosses or shine rinses.

Texture doesn't TOTALLY dictate how shiny your hair is, or is not. Yes at some point you will have "sheen" over "mirror shine" but where the line is differs from head to head.

The Blingy shine in my opinion has a lot to do with optimal conditioning and the type of conditioner you use....

I know most may disagree.....
But - I have noticed excellent shine without trying hard because of good conditioners.

What conditioner do you use?

I use AO Honeysuckle Rose... extremely good imo.

Yeah, the jojoba oil does help.

My hair isn't dull, it's healthy, moisturized and well conditioned... I just want it to be crazy shiny

I'm going to the BSS in like an hour to look for that beautiful collection you mentioned btw.

Ive seen people get crazy shine from Vitapointe when used on straight hair., not sure what it would do on curly hair, but Im'a get some and try it, Reneice used it and Chicoro started using it too, defininte high bling! I am gonna try it myself soon

I think you will like the Beautiful Collection, try it like I use it , first put some conditioner in your hair , just a minimal application of it, a cheapie one is fine, or whatever one you want, then add the BC and leave it on for a while, it really does take and Cover well!

People always ask me how I got the great shine in my avatar. I use castor oil and garnier frutis brillante shine and keracare humidity block oil sheen. That's about $20 for great shine!!!!!

When I rollerset, if I apply a lil bit of Oil Sheen, my ahir has that bling bling look going on. Oils also do the same for my hair. I do agree that my hair looked shinier when it was jet black. That's why I wanna dye it back black :ohwell:. I was BLINDIN people with that shine

TRUE...when I was relaxed I use to to braidouts with Vitapointe ...WOULD MAKE MY HAIR SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SHINY!!!! And when I would open my braids and my hair would absorb that vitapointe it was shiny and NOT greasy at all!!!

oil (africa's best... some coconut oil... whatever you can find) then I put some serum over it like biosilk or CHI silk infusion

Or I just spray some oil sheen (Motions or ORS Olive Oil)

If your hair is curly... why not just leave conditioner or oils in it while its still damp to give it that "wet look?" Otherwise I've noticed that its just not gonna be shiny while its curly unless its naturally that way.
