No more extensions, weaves or braids.

I was thinking of doing no fake hair at all combined with no wash-n-go's in 2009 in order to force myself to learn how to do some actual styles on my own hair...but I don't know. I do love my half-wigs and weaves.

Being a PJ :look::look::look:
At least I'm gonna try

You're going to need to find a good 12 step program and a sponsor for support.:yep:

No more staching products that don't work and using them up. IF they don't work, get rid of them.

This is good. Last year I started doing that but maybe it's time to rethink this practice.

clearly relaxers are dead in my life.

me too woopee!!!

It seens air drying and baggying are losing steam.:ohwell:

I'm not going to buy new products. I wasted a lot of money this year on growth aids, moisturizers, shampoos etc. I've found the products that work for me.

no sls shampoos, mineral oil or petroleum products on my hair
not moisturizing consistently
no relaxers at 6-8 weeks, stretching is my friend
no excessive heat

products: anything cheapie!:nono: my hair is spoiled and saditty these days:lachen:
techniques: no more wash n gos(death to my retention) no more slacking on my regimen!!!!!!!!!

No sulfates, no excuses - finally found they were the nasty source of my tangles thanks to you wonderful ladies.

No cones (atleast no more than 1)

No more oils. Last purchase was Black Castor Oil, and my ends love, love, love it. No more frizzy ends and that's an accomplishment. I have enough oils.

Move out of the PJ's, and that's not too hard cause my man cut me off! Now I've got a "hair allowance"

No more switching products every other week - I have been using the same things for several months now and my hair has definitely benefited from it. Much healthier.

So far, that's all. I have gotten rid of most of my bad habits this year. :look:

No more sulfates
Limit protein products.( Use only MT/OCT and ORS Mayo)
No cones (maybe with the exception of my Beloved Mizani Thermasmooth)
No more keracare Humecto:nono: Did nothing for my napps

No PJism (Don't Laugh I AM SERIOUS:rolleyes:)

This may change depending on whether I stay natural in '09 or not!

No more PJism
No more salon trims( will do them myself)
No more switching up my stylist every time.
Fewer wash and gos, will rollerset more often
No more braids, (or else I get them done in Nigeria)
No more weave for longer than a month

I tried the no sls last year - I never found a shampoo I liked - which leads to my hair resolutions.

Get rid of products I tried but did not like. My youngest daughter just returned from Argentina with no shampoo or conditioner - the Wen (I hate it; she loved it), the Carol's Daughter (even though I love the scent of Khoret Amen), and all of the other bottles and jars have gone to the girls' bathroom (they think Christmas came early). And now that these products are out of my space, I will not buy any more. I know what works (phytojoba) and that is what I'll buy and use - period.

No more shampoos with sls. I plan on using more natural products on my hair.
