Ok, i know that since i use SLS free shampoos that i need to clarify every month or so. So it got me to thinking, what makes a clarifying shampoo a clarifier? Is it the fact that it says clarifier on the bottle? Or is there a specific ingredient that makes it a clarifier? I was ready this article on http://thebeautybrains.com/2009/03/02/how-do-clarifying-shampoos-work/ , and it got me thinking that maybe it's just the sulfates that "clarify" your hair. In that case, wouldn't many of our shampoos be "clarifiers" :perplexed? Ladies, if my logic is wrong, please tell me what ingredient exactly should i look for in a clarifying shampoo?

There was a list of specific ingredients somewhere. Let me see if i can find it.
