This may change depending on whether I stay natural in '09 or not!

Don't you know I have ears like a cat?! You've had so much growth and your hair is so pretty. I think you should give at least another year :drunk: or two............etc.

I want to give up sulfates, products containing mineral oil, and flat ironing! I can't wait to see my hair after one year of no flat ironing!

Giving up being a PJ. I love Aveda's dry remedy and damage remedy lines and I'm gonna alternate between those two.

I don't prepoo often but when I do it doesn't seem to have any advantage so I don't think I'll be doing that anymore.

I think I'm going to give up salon relaxers. I did my own last week and it came out so well, no over or underprocessing this time. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up.

I tried the no sls last year - I never found a shampoo I liked

Yeah that's my problem. I have tried to use several different sls free shampoos and they tangled and dried my hair out worse than the sls ones! I do know that sulfates frizzes my hair out more but so far I can't find a good moisturizing sls free poo. I also read that just because it says sulfate free does not mean that whatever they are using in place of the sls is gentle.

I am nixing bandwagons, I caused a LOT of damage to my hair by doing that.

Why??
I was thinking about adding these....

I gave up cones and sulfates for about a year doing the CG method and my hair stayed moisturized and in good shape. As I'm narrowing down my products I'm finding that none of them include cones or other parabens so I want to give sulfate-free shampoos a try. The only time I use cones is when I rollerset and I'm only planning to rollerset once a month because I've been loving braidouts too much right now. I have to chelate once a month because I go to college in a hard water city so the cones I do use from rollersetting will be washed away.

No more texlaxing...going back to relaxing bone straight (or at least straighter than I am now) in 2009.

products: John Masters Organics lavender&avocado intensive conditioner (intensive is way overrated in this product), Carol's Daughter Mimosa hair honey, Carol's Daughter Loc Butter

air drying caused my hair to tangle too much and break, so maybe after fresh relaxers I will do it only. not staying up on my trims, my ends need to be trimmed on the regular, I will keep track of all my trims on my calendar.
my hair loves long stretches so that will remain in the mix.
yay: trims, stretching
nay: wash and go's without hair being freshly relaxed
products most of the stuff i'm using now my hair likes, and yes it's biased and prefers the salon stuff and pantene, fantasia ic line as it's cheapies.
