What one thing has made the most difference?

Id say:

1) rollersetting- even before I used the right products, knew about protein v moisture, even deep conditioning- my hair really started growing when i started rollersetting and wrapping. My ends are always super healthy and my hair has gotten so much thicker over the years

2) Deep conditioning (one week Keracare, the next ORS hair may) - made my hair start to shine. it had sheen before but now it shines:) And it became elastic and tangle free.

3) Wrapping- keeps my hair moisturized and tangle free

Without those three things, I would still be curling it every mornin and using a sweeper to vacuum the breakage:(

aww thank you MissBiss and thank you Sareca!!! sorrry i still dont know how to put multiple quotes in the same post i m a slow learner:lol: :p :D :)

It is hard to just choose one but I would have to say decreasing heat. I would use a curling iron almost everyday before LHCF. My hair is not thin anymore and my ends are very healthy now.

for me, I can't say it was just "one thing". it was and still is ........

1ST.NO HEAT WHAT SO EVER !!!!!!!!!!:D
2ND. POO 2X A WEEK
3RD. VITAMINS

LAST BUT NOT LEAST..........

BOX BRAIDS ( CROWN & GLORY ) REGIMEN . THIS HAS HELPED TREMENDOUSLY WITH MY "HAND IN HAIR DISEASE"!

No heat
Deep conditioning
Protective styles (when I do them)
Co-washing and using CON moisturizing shampoo when I do shampoo
Moisturing daily with Paul Mitchell The Conditioner

But of all these things I'd have to say no heat made the most difference

For me its been Extra Virgin Oilve Oil. I know it sounds wierd but it has truly changed my hair. I use it after I wash my hair while its wet and I also use it to moisturize my scalp and it has worked wonders!

Although it would be easier if one thing worked for everybody, I like that our journey is....our journey. Your path to healthy hair must be tailor made for you. There's somethin' kinda special about that.
:assimilat :naughty: :D

I'm in a mood today...

For me it has been very little manipulation. The less i mess with my hair the better. I put it in braids and weaves often and that really helps. I only put heat on my hair once a month. And moisture moisture moisture!

Homemade moisturizer: moisturize, moisturize, moiturize!!!!
+ Conditionner washing!

Ditto for me too on both counts. My hair moved from a few inches below shoulder to arm pit length even with 1.5" trims every other month.
