What Is Your Hair Type?

I typed my hair at a 4b and got jumped. It's really multitextured. I have 3c on the hairline, 4a on the inner circle and 4b at the crown. I claim 4b because that's what my hair looks like when I compare to pictures. I really just think I have naturalgurl type hair.


ETA-From the poll it looks like there are more 4a/b's

I got me some coils and kinks in the front and sides, kinks in the middle (crown area), and curls/coils in the nape area. Oh, and there is one whole patch that does nothing, and I mean nothing. I stopped trying to type myself...I encompass the whole damn spectrum of Andre's system on one head of hair. What does he have to say about that?

i'm confused about hairtyping
b/c some of my hair needs to be coaxed to curl (w product)
some parts dry wavy but r coarse (which don't usually go together)
i think i have a bunch: wavy(type?), curly (3c) & coily (4a)
when i see other people describe their hair i get more confused
i think im w/ lady libra w/ forgetting the hair typingerplexed

I am a combination. I am a 3b/3c fine hair. My curls are frizzy because my hair is a little damaged from me not taking care of it like I should.

I think i might be a 4b, but i dont really agree with typing hair to be honest...it all about the genes. Both parents have different hair...so its just a mix lol.

I got a lot of different textures going on in this head of mine. I would say a 3b/c. The front left side of my hair (to the ear) is wavish and the right side is curly. From my ears to nape, it's definitely 3c ish. My hair is not uniform and doesn't dry full like I see in the pics other members have posted. I have to take a pic one day and you all can tell me what type you think I am.

I really dont know. I cant be honest with my self. All I can say is that my hair is texlaxed and I cant find the line of demarcation when I have NG. Also the hair at my crown has no discernible texture pattern and is extremely resistant and prone to tangling. I know that isnt a type but I had to share my frustration

My hair is really "nappy" and I know that it can be seen as politically incorrect, but sorry I don't know any other way to put it. I see the ladies on the board whose hair is
4a-4b and their texture still appears to be looser than mine.

I have no clue I tried the link at the beginning of this thread that she said could help you identify your hair type but the page came up with an "error - page not found" message . I am a relaxed head, does anyone have any suggestions as to what type i might be? i posted some pix below thanks!

i'm definitely a 3b/3c. but i do have a really small amount of 4a hair ..it's there but i dont even know if i should count it because as my hair grows out more it's obvious it's dominated by 3b/3c
