Can somebody provide me with pics of hair with sheen? I am wondering if my hair has it naturally. I think it does but I am not sure what hair with sheen looks like.:perplexed

Oh and before somebody suggests it...I did a search and the thread I found did not have pics. There were some good explanations but I need pics.

did you see the thread about humidity ruining our hairstyles? mwedzi has a pic that shows an excellent example of sheen. her twistout post-humidity almost seems to sparkle... i think that is a great way to describe it - sparkly! :yep:

*ETA - found the post for you, so you'd have a pic to see what i mean:

Yea I looked at that thread but I don't remember anybody mentioning sheen.

Thanks for providing a pic, though. Appreciate the response. A visiual example helps alot.

I love that pic of her hair!! This caused by "HUMIDITY"?

I usually don't do twistouts, because I normally don't like the way they look on me. Next time, I do them, I'm going to jump in a hot shower for 10 minutes and let the steam work my hair. I really like that look on Mwedzi. Her hair looks moisturized too, along with the great sheen.

oh no, we weren't talking about sheen at all in that thread. it's just, when i saw this topic, that's the first thing my mind jumped to... cuz it was a recent pic, that's all.

i know we are just getting more and more off-topic but... mwedzi's hair is always gorgeous. i don't care what she says about "bad hair days" and the like

Mwedzi's hair is gorgeous! Very good example of sheen.

Here's a pic I took of my hair. I was excited by the sheen I had achieved with the caramel treatment and coconut oil. No flash--just the light from my bathroom window and the overhead fixture. Please excuse all the extra "sheen" on my fivehead.
