My hair is very similar to yours. Not quite hair twins - but very similar. I love those pics of yours.

Your hair didn't even shrink, it just poofed.

Yesterday I left with one style. (A nicely formed braidout) Returned at the end of the day with
Sideshow Bob Frozilla hair.:afropick:

Great thread Mook. Until you BC'd there was NO ONE on the board who I though of as a hair cousin...but with the exception of your awesome thickness our hair seems to be really similar....i'm enjoying your journey :)

So here are my knots & knot out from last summer. I LOVE the humidity cause it makes my fine hair fluff up!

This is great - most of the time I feel so alone when I face the humidity poof! Gald to know so many feel my pain.

I have plenty of experiences, but not a lot of pics. Here is one from a few years ago in Philly - it was a twist out originally.

The next time I get my hair done, I will post pics of my unfortunate disasters. :nono: I thought I was the only one.

Btw, am I the only relaxed head in this thread that suffers from "poofy hair" syndrome after being in the humidity? Because I have always wondered why if my hair is relaxed, why does it still fall and go limp/poofy in the humidity???? :confused:

I plan to straighten soon (I know crazy me, lol). I want to see how Sabino holds up in the very humid weather. Hopefully I won't even have an after pic:look: *crosses fingers* but if I do I will post.
 
OMG!!! Hairedity, that was priceless. :lachen: I love you for sharing that!!

I'm kind of glad I live in a dry climate now. My blow out has lasted a week, even though it has rained 5 out of seven days. The atmosphere just soaks that moisture up. Hence my constantly ashy skin. When I go back home to visit though, you betta bleev Kinky Curly will be the order of the day.

OMG yall are sooo funny and I SWEAR I have had similar experiences here on the east coast...that's why I refuse to deal this summer--I'M DONE!
