Could u help me out i dont know what my hair type is? this picture was take right after my big chop in Sept 09 after transitioning for a year. Also whats the best product to get natural hair into a slick ponytail or updo.

Looks like 4a to me, with 3c parts. Your nape is just like mine, and when I posted pics, I got a whopping response for 4a, lol. It also poofs the same.

Sooooo true! Straight out the shower, my hair will look like a clean 4a..let me run a comb or something through it, and it'll split off in all sorts of directions like a 4bz It also doesn't like to go back to looking like a 4a unless I was it again. The 3cish looking area is just chill. >.> It'd be nice if the rest of my hair played nice like it, lol.

Damn, all these 4a 3c lol all i know is i'm a 32c bra and thats about it...lol

I'm all nervous about wearing it out for the first time this weekend, i got to get to know my hair wine and dine it for a while and show it how muchi love it so it will do what i want when i want lool

But my hair shrinks like no one's business and cant take an ounce of humidity i went out with it straightened over my weave and it just unleashed itself to the world..i had to take my *** home lol
