Can someone please explain to me what this is? What do you do to "plop" your hair, and what does plopping achieve. TIA for your help.

it's all explained it that link...but im just going to warn you plopping doesn't generally work for any hairtype above type 3b

3a/b's and down usually experienced good definition, and lots of volume

3b/c's and up usually experienced frizzy, poofy hair

That's interesting. I suspect you may be on to something. I have never "plopped" but I do have a cotton snood that I used to put on my head just to soak up the excess water and I used to get some frizz from that. So, I suspect plopping would not give great results for me. But one of these days I'm going to give it a try. Drip dry works well for me...but in the winter, when I have to get to class, there might be a problem.

if this is an old post, thank you for the info. I have finally been able to enhance my curls by putting on leave in cond. and noodle head. If I need it to last all day I just spray some curl vive gel, but that leaves my hair hard. Still lookin for another product. :ohwell:
