What happened to Aloof One and her youtube tutorials/lhcf posts??

I remember her! I know she disappeared off lhcf back when I took a half year hiatus in 2008, at least I think that's when she left, so many people disappear even in a few months from here

Yeah, i was looking for the bkt video and others. The bkt vid was very good. I think she even had a follow up of the results after she washed-- and then again after the bkt had worn off. Very thorough tutorial & review. Now I can't find a decent bkt video (geesh)! Also she had some good flat iron tutorials.

. She taught me how to comb chase. I still don't see anyone doing the most efficient way--that vid could help alot of flat iron impaired people!

She was nuts. Like, really certifiable. Like.... I don't know what I would do if I saw her in person. I ran across her videos once on YT and I totally got why her personality online was so combative... because she was a naturally COMBATIVE person. And I know the ladies on BHM don't play so I'm pretty sure they ripped her a new one and hung her with the old.
OP, sorry to hijack your thread but there are plenty of other naturals on the board and YT who are even more helpful, less condescending and more pleasant. I was natural from 2008-2010. Another good one is AFashionSlave. I know her personally and she's SUPER resourceful.

No, that's fine--but a bit harsh don't you think? I actually knew she had some problems-- and she ws open about her issues w/her mom and other family. So iknew and understood why she was defensive at times. Then again, I work in counseling & tend to be uderstanding. Most people have issues in one way or another.
Afashionslave is probably the first natural I latched on to way bac when I 1st went natural in 2005. I watch plenty more youtubers, etc., but aloofone had some good vids that were great for reference-- I still haven't found a decent bkt or comb chase vid.

Thank you and I appreciate you asking, everything's fine, I'm an Army Officer lol very good job and they are just keeping me busy. I had to close down my videos for a minute because there was some unecessary attention put on them that I wasn't sure how to handle. When you put yourself on Youtube, even if you mean well people will turn it around into something else. I just needed to take a break and clear out some clutter. I watch all these videos with black girls on Youtube practically teaching eachother how to be bald headed or selling some crap off as magical growth potions and it's sad, I just don't like being associated with it, so I took a little break and figured removing my vids couldn't hurt either. I also wanted to make sure none of my videos had any personal information just to be precautionary. I'm kind of looking to just start from scratch when I come back, or at least just pick up where I left off, if that makes sense.

Anything that was said on this board turned into a fight with her. And, it wasn't one of those situations where another member is too high-strung and read her posts wrong. She would DELIBERATELY start **** with ppl just for sh*ts and giggles. She's a goddamn terror

I just don't get ppl like that. Like, damn! Can a black **** be happy with her -.25 of an inch of growth? Why are you throwing shade? The point is that SHE thinks she looks good, SHE is happy with her results and YOU never are.
