@Dayjoy, I've heard they're more accepting, too. When I wore a barbered cut, I rec'd quite a few stares from those guys.

They are the ones who like ethnicity.. Mine doesn't. Or should I say... My ex doesn't cuz he is surely on the curb! Tissue anyone?

My husband hates all wigs.

I had a lil curly quick weave one time he wasn't fond of. In all honesty it did look like Rick James.

I tried the head wrap thing once and he told me I looked like a patient.

He hates my buns and calls me lazy with my hair. My hair is past my bra strap and it gets tangled and all sorts of things. He always remind me of the women who have weave that length and how I don't even wear my hair down. He doesn't understand less is more when it comes to healthy hair and protective styles. He HATES when it gets warmer because I love jumping in the shower in the morning CO washing and bun it. It keeps me cool and I feel my hair gets it's nourishment...HE HATES IT! LOL! I do find it funny when I go go around folks when I get it done and they are surprised I have all the hair wrapped in that bun! LOL!

I had my hair out all weekend. I co washed it and put my hair in two strands twists and set them on flexi rods. I had big pretty hair for the RKelly concert and the mother's day brunch and he loved the look. This morning I co-washed and bunned it and head out the door for work! LOL!

I got my hair straightened for the first time since I went natural a couple of months ago and DH said it was pretty but that I didn't look like myself and was concerned that I'd have to cut all my hair off to get it back nappy. That made me happy too.

I did do most of my dating wearing natural styles just so any potential suitors knew what they were in for but honestly it barely phased most guys; white, black or otherwise. So wear those beautiful curls

But my SO doesn't like anything that makes me look really young (As I already have a around face and chubby cheeks). So pigtails etc. He also gets a little weird out when I have curlformers in but likes the results

My SO hates when I have braids mostly due to fake hair. He does not complain but he will pout. He would pick up my braid like a limp noodle lol

That was my problem I think... I was wearing weave when I met him and that's what he liked... It's ok though, now he's liking that curb!
