I haven't experienced with any of the suggested items on here, but I do have a question: Are you ladies doing this with deep conditioners (1-2xs/wk) or just as a daily conditioner procedure?

TIA

Whatever my hair needs. I do daily conditioner washes. Sometimes I might mix a small amount of oil into my conditioner as a leave-in for an entire week.

Other times, I take an empty conditioner bottle and mix conditioner, an essential oil, and water then apply the mix to my hair and scalp and let it marinate under a plastic cap while I shower. I rinse it out and proceed on with my regular CW.

I may decide that my hair could use an overnight treatment with just conditioner.

Then there are the times I think my scalp would benefit from a rosemary treatment. I mix up a batch of that which includes conditioner then spray onto my scalp.

What you add and how you use it depends, but you have to know the purpose of the ingredients you're adding and match that with what your hair needs at that moment.

I did the same thing minus the honey and the suave oasis almond and honey conditioner that did nothing for my hair actually gave me slip and moisturized my hair. I'm so happy that I can actually use it up instead of it being left lost in my cabinet.

I am curious about the panthenol as well. Neroli, I tried to send a private message...but it says that you are not accepting them. Anyone else use panthenol? If so where do you buy it from...and how much do you use? TIA

honey and tahiti coconut oil to my suave conditioners. it is very moisturizing for my natural curly hair. plus it leaves me frizz less.
