Is it as harmful as dye? Have you ever had one? Just wondering! Thanks in advance.

It's a temporary color. Should last about 5 to 10 shampoos.

I used to use them all the time. They are less damaging than permanent dyes and I think the ingredients are a lot less harsh. You can even use a rinse on the same day that you relax.
 
Just to add to what was said, rinses can also plump up your hair strands a little and give you more body and shine.
 
Ditto on what Dionne said. I get a clear cellophane rinse w/ my relaxer.
 
They also seal the cuticle a little....

An added benefit to all the shine and body they can add to the hair.

k, so i understoood the whole semi-permanant thing but then clear rinse??????????? if its clear how does it act like a semi-colour?? also what is cellophane?
 
I thought a rinse is a rinse you know rinse your hair.
 
What is the best rinse to use for relaxed hair?
