I want to try a rinse on my hair but I am not sure what a rinse is supposed to do exactly and how to use it properly. Can you ladies please give me some insight? Also what rinse would you recommend...from sickbay? or somewhere else? Thanks ladies!:D

ohhh...i think you meant conditioner rinses like the lafirer desrizol rinse. i bought two and didnt know what they did either. i tired it but it didnt make any difference. i think they're just like conditioners or sth

umm..no. i still have a bottle and i might try it again and let you know how it works. when i used it, i remember it made my hair hard. but maybe it depends on the brand. who knows........

Rinses are for after deep conditioning...it is suppose to help detangle...like a final "rinse"

They are usually very light in texture and "watery"consistancy...so you may not feel moisturized if you use it right after a shampoo only...I think (IMHO) they need to be used after deep con.

unless you have very thin/fine hair type

I agree, I use several dominican rinses (Capilo Milk and Honey is my fave) and all they really do is detangle and make the hair smell good.

the lafier didnt detangle. i guess it doesnt work for me. and i used it after deep conditioning. i can get the capilo milk and honey at sickbay.biz?

I use and love Lafier Honey and Almond Rinse. It does a good job at detangling. It's my favorite Dominican rinse.

I like the Sole & Cinnamon and Nacidit Olive Oil Rinse usally after deep conditioning with the same Conditioners.

I like Lafier's Almond, and Nacidit's Wheat Germ ( this one smells lovely), VO5's Split End Treatment as a final rinse for the scents actually

I use them on occassion mostly because of the scents :)
