What do you *think* your hair type is?

Not sure but I believe 3c in the very back. 4a in the upper back, 4b in the middle and ear area and 4zzy in the crown to front area. That's what I think not sure.

4a/4b with 3c in the nape. That darn 3c nape is messing up my tight frizz.... My whole head has tight frizz except the 3c nape. It has a loose frizz.:look:

I don't really know what my hair is anymore.:nono: Rant over.:look:

I'm 4a all day!!! Weird little 3b/3c curls around my neck from ear to ear.

Sent from my SPH-D700 using SPH-D700

I am a 4a and I even with locs I am a 4a, lol. My coily hair type is perfect for locs..the nappier/coilier/kinkier the better for me :yep:

ETA: 4a are coils that can be the size of pen springs and up I suppose. I have pen spring coils all over my head...I do not have large curls...

close up of loc texture...

...with that being said, having locs has put the icing on the cake concerning my feelings about my hair texture...I mean I went from loving my hair texture to LURVING it..

i honestly think i have an in between hair type...between 3 and 4...but at this point it does not even really matter all the much. protein, moisture and retention are all that matter to me.

"Fo b".... all over, no patches of a different texture, no curls, z pattern, no chaser. Loves it!

I know I am mostly 4a, with maybe some 4b in the back...but I can't decide what my crown is, it's either a looser 4a or 3c (but I'm leaning towards 4a now)

My wooly mammoth cannot be mistaken for another hair type we are firmly in the 4B hair camp unless somehow we died and are reincarnated as a different hair type yeah we cannot even masquerade as anything else.

I'm a 4b. Used to claim 4a/b but after being on here a while and reading all the typing threads I eventually came to the conclusion that really I have 3 or 4 different types of 4b going on instead.
^^^
This is what I'm starting to think with my hair.

I see a lot of women with looser hair texture and less shrinkage than mine claiming 4a.
