You're over your color and want to go back not necessarily to a your original color, but to something darker? Like an off black perhaps.

I'm not quite sure but I believe that what I have in my hair is a "lightner" not necessairiy a "color" perse. It's streaked all over my hair and it's been like this for almost 8 months, and I'm just just feeling like it's played out on me. To dercribe the color, it's exactly like how Regan Gomez-P's. hair was in Reuben's 'I'm sorry' Video.
For some reason, I think that this will ultimately not be a healthy thing to keep in may hair. But growing it out will take forever!!!!!!
do ya'll think a dark rinse would be sufficient? Not to mention safe?

Miss Js, I would recommend a dark rinse, sebastians colourshines in particular, there's neutral brown and coffee bean that will darken without damaging your hair. If your up for a dramatic black there's black orchid. Your tresses will probably receive some of the red tones like redissimo (sp) and red copper. HTH.

Dark rinses are your best bet. But be careful about the tones. Look for something with a red base.

Thank you ladies!

Hey Tracy, why the red base? Sorry, but Im just clueless about this.

Also, should I do the rinse while getting the touch up?

Also, rinses aren't considered too harful are they.

Not Tracy,
But I think, rather I know from personal experience, that if you use a green or violet base your hair will have hints of those colors.
