Assuming you mean other than specifically labelled 'leave in conditioners, I can leave in a bit of HSR without a problem, but I think it depends on your hair. I know some people leave in nourish spa or Hello Hydration but I can't leave that in without it making my hair dry and crunchy even with a little bit. You might need to do some experimentation

i think you can use any conditioner as a leave in. i wouldnt leave a protein in though. i tend to only use natural conditioners as leave ins. right now i alternate between a leave in conditioner and CURLS coconut sublime conditioner. the coconut conditioner is a better leave in than it is a conditioner lol.

I leave in VO5. All my others are too thick and leave my hair with a dry dusty look.

NTM Daily Deep and Aussie Moist have worked as a creamy leave in for me

I really like Oyin's honey hemp conditioner as a leave in. It provides moisture and defines my texture.

I've tried v05 in past and it didn't work ...i tried it again last week and i love the moisture milks for a leave in (i haven't tried it on flat ironed hair yet).

Herbal Essences Long Term relationship is a decent conditioner to leave in. The actual Leave in conditioner of the line and the regular conditioner ingredients are almost identical. Its pretty thick and creamy too (If you like that)

Trader Joes Nourish Spa Conditioner

^^^Co-signing on this! I set my twists with this and seal with a little castor oil. I just tried to do the same with Giovanni's Hydrating Condish ---:nono:--just not the same. Just goes to show you don't have to pay alot for quality products (Trader Joe = $3 bottle).

This is a great post: I hope there's more replies

I would say any conditioner that has NO cones, no protein (or heavy protein: keratin, silk, or wheat protein's), or alcohol's in the label (ingreident's)

I like any conditioners that has Aloe Vera gel or aloe extracts, Oils, Plant Extracts, and a little Glycerin in the ingredients

Suave and V05 conditioners <-(the natural line only) (In my opinion) is nice as a leave-in once I knew how to apply it correctly to my 4b natural hair

BUMP

I Like AO Honeysuckle rose

I plan to try TJ Nourish Spa, but I read that you can only leave it in one day because it builds up quickly.

This works great for me as a leave in.

ETA: I see this was already posted.

I use my silicon mix as a DC and leave-in mainly because I use a lot of heat. It's so versatile and its better than the actual silicon mix leave-in.

vo5 milks for a leave in
HE Totally twisted

Aussie Moist and GVP The Detangler(works wonders on detangling hair also).

You can also use WEN as a leave in. :yep: My personal favs are the Tea Tree and Almond :lick:

Great thread!!!

I use a little V05 with water in a spray bottle on my hair with no problems.

I leave in a dime size amount of Joico's Moisture Treatment Balm with no problems. :)

I use my Nexxus Humectant, my savue humectant, and my VO5s are leave ins. lol Pretty much any conditioner...

Great! So, so far, it sounds like you can only leave in moisture conditioners not protein. The reason I am interested is that I have heard 3 people growing their hair out to waist length after doing this and this seems to be the difference.

Trader Joe's Nourish Spa
Elucence Moisture Balancing

Both are fantastic for leave-ins...fantastic!

I use V05 and Herbal Essences Hydralicious as leave ins.

i've been style with pantene naturefusion moisture balance mixed in my hand w/ castor oil and my hair loves it.
