Hi all! I have a small pack of jamila henna...I was wondering...what color is yours? Mine was brownish. I thought it was supposed to be green? :\
Thank you!

Thanks sereca. I tried to take a picture of it. :/ The right side is some other henna I have, the left, the jamila.

I have two packs of jamila that are both that color. :[ I wanted to try it, just to see if it would make a difference, but now I'm so iffy.
I don't know, should I not use it?

I don't think it's harmful, I'm just not sure it's fresh. There are natural variations in the crop from season to season, but I typically throw out anything that's reddish brown before I add the water. It looks like it's oxidizes already.
What does that mean?
Oxidizes? To combine with oxygen I think. Girl don't start me lying.Oxidization is the process that allows the color to develop on your hair. I think what we call "releasing" is also an oxidation process too.
