I've voted on everything from shampoo down. I forgot that I can do micro braids but would never do a whole head. I bet I could put in a weave just never tried. I am scared sh#%less to do my own relaxer:eek: Maybe one day I will get enough balls to do it. But I love the lady I go to for a touch up so Im not stressin...sorry so long.

I can braid with or without extensions(any size or style), cornrow with or without extensions(any size or style), sew-in weaves, color, relax, flat iron, shampoo, deep condition and rollerset. I'm still trying to master trimming on myself but I may leave that to a professional. I know my next trim/cut ( I need at least 1" off) will be done by a pro.

i can:

shampoo/DC
apply a rinse

i tried rollersetting and it didnt come out the way i wanted. the ends and roots always came out frizzy so i think i will leave that alone. i never tried flat ironing but i think i will in the futre. i scared to relax my own hair that is something i dont think I will ever try.

I can do everything if I really had to. What I don't like doing is my own relaxer touch-up's (overlap, underprocess fear) and extention braids (I've grown lazy when it comes to that).

Soup to nuts. Anything I've wanted (or had done before) I can do. :yay: I might not do it was well as the pros, but it's good enough for me.

I can do most- but no braids, weaves, twists.

My hair can't take them & my scalp would itch off!!!

Wow, it looks as if I can't do much of anything. I can only DC/Shampoo and twist/braid without extensions. I could flat iron before going natural.

i know how to shampoo/dc. I have attempted a braidout and rollerset. By the end of this year i hope to have learned how to dust and self relax.

I have only mastered taking care of my hair and relaxing it without doing damage.

I've been trying really hard to practice braiding etc but I just can't do it. :(

I can do most of those things except the twists. I love doing things myself because I know my hair best! Plus it's kind of fun to learn and it's exciting when you get your method down pat :D

I can flat iron also but I did not select it in the poll because my results aren't yet 100% consistent. I think one of the differences may be the conditioner I use beforehand...and I'm a product hopper...

ETA: I forgot to add "relax"...that's in addition to poo/dc and henna/color

I can wash, condition, DC and put color in my hair. I cannot do any braiding, twisting or cornrowing. I can do my own sew-in weave. If someone else braids the tracks for me. My Mom used to braid my tracks and then I would sew in the wefts for a my 3/4 head weave. When I self-relax my Sister or a friend puts the relaxer in. I can do everything else from there. I can do a color on myself, but, prefer to have it done at the salon.

I can wrap my hair, use a curling iron on it and set it with my Caruso hair setter. Every single wet rollerset I've ever attempted has come out a frizzy mess. Where is the rollerset tutorial that someone mentioned earlier? If I could do that, I would only need to go to the salon for my touch-ups, trim and color.

twist and braid my daughters' hair without extension (never tried on myself)
nothing with extensions
shampoo/condition/deep condition
relax (never tried texturizing)
rollerset
trim/dust
I've done color on others, but never myself

I think I am pretty self-sufficient for the most part. While I love having someone else wash my hair, I hate spending hours in the salon for that to happen. i'm teaching my Dh to wash just right. :p

I picked shampoo and condition, however the best thing I can do for my hair is leave it alone and let it grow.

Well I can do pretty much everything on your list:cool: Even pre- LHCF I hated having people in my hair so I learnt in self defense, I used to do weaves at home when I was at Uni (College in American;) ). I can do my own braids with extensions but I'm sooo lazy and the lady that's been doing my hair for 10 years is an

I do everything BUT color! I have blessed, I taught myself how to braid when I was 10 and have been doing it ever since. I learned how to updo's much later. I won't color my hair though, I'm a punk!:p I haven't been to a salon in almost 2 years and probably won't even go for my graduation/wedding either!
