What are your favorite Dominican products?

Relentless

Reinventing
I love the products my stylist use. I know she has used Salerm and Lacio Lacio. I was on Roundbrush.com and read great revies of many products.

What are your favorite products and why?

I have no idea what they use in my hair. Every time I go I say I am going to look but I forget. I only go once every few months. Its a lot of heat so I don't want to go to much.

The ones that I've tried and love and will buy again.
Silicon Mix hands down,it's a staple now.
Silicon Mix leave in
Lacio Lacio leave in

I don't like dominican shampoos or relaxers but love those conditioners mentioned above. I have also tried and didn't like La Bomba, 10 en 1, Nacidit and Emergencia.I like Silicon Mix Bambu but I don't care for the smell so won't be buying again after this jar is gone.

Not dominican but used in dominican salons (italian and spanish products)
Alfaparf Semi di Lino and Rigen
Alter Ego Garlic conditioner, Nourishing Conditioner (yummy) and the Alter Ego Cren drops
Salerm Germen de Trigo
Salerm 21 leave in

Silicone Mix conditioner and poo- leave hair shiny, moisturizes, smooth and silky.
Silicone Mix Bamboo conditioner- same as a above
Capilo Milk and Honey rinse- detangles with great slip leaving my hair soft and moist.
Capilo Cinnamon conditioner- cuts down shedding
Baba De Caracol conditioner - very moisturizing
Miss Key 10en1 conditioner- gives me both moisture and protein.
Emergencia conditioner- moisture, protein and shine.
Apretendora conditioner- Mega slip, tangle free hair, less shedding. I use as a prepoo/DC on dry hair mostly it leaves my hair soft and shiny.
Praital Silk Worm rinse and conditioner- Mega slip, very moisturizing, shine and love the smell like candy.
Alter Ego garlic conditioner (Spain product)- reduces shedding, shine and it leaves my strands extra smooth and strong. It's hard to explain, but condition leaves my hair feeling brand new.
Sedal HydrAloe leave in
Lacio lacio leave in

I think that's it lol

Honestly, I have almost never run across a Dominican haircare product that I didn't LOVE. Here are a few I use:

Bambu Silicon Mix - Leave In & Deep Conditioner
Silicon Mix - Shampoo, Leave In & Deep Conditioner
Perla Silicon Mix - Deep Conditioner
CrecePelo Deep Conditioner (okay -- not enough slip for me)
BPT Wheat Germ - Deep Conditioner
BarbaDeCaracol - Deep Conditioner
BarbaDeCaracol Hair Loss Treatment - Deep Conditioner
Torque Magico Emergencia - Leave ins & Deep Conditioner
Canela - Pre poo
Capilo Suela y canela - Deep Conditioner
10 en 1 - Shampoo & Deep Conditioner
La Bomba - Deep Conditioner & Leave in

I have many, many more but I wanted to list a few. Also, like Alter Ego products and have used UNA hair masque as well, both are used in Dominican hair salons.

The entire Crece Pelo line
BPT wheat germ rinse and treatment

12 en 1 rinse
the entire Silicon Mix Proteina de Perla line
lacio lacio leave-in

Silicon bambu mix deep conditioner
Silicon mix deep conditioner
Lacio lacio leave in
Salerm wheat germ conditioner (can't think of the name)
10 en 1 conditioner
La bomba deep conditioner

Baba de caracol conditioner

Anything by boe especially the doctor cabello and maravisus lines. I dont see these mentioned a lot or available from online vendors but they are awesome

I've been using Crece Pelo for the past month and I absolutely love it. It gives my hair awesome slip and it's a great deep conditioner.

What is the difference between the diff silicon mixes? Which ones are more moisture.. More prot? I though pearla was protein, but is Bambu also protein? So confusing...

The original Silicon Mix is the most moisturizing for me.

Just tried dominican products for the first time this weekend! I used silicon mix bamboo shampoo and original deep conditioner. I also used lacio lacio leave in before I blow dried my hair.

Shampoo--felt really nice, it was thicker than most shampoos I've used. But I like it that way. My hair felt clean but not stripped and dry.

DC--Hair felt extremely soft, mangeable, moist, and I definitely had the best slip of my entire life. (Not over exaggerating at all.)

Leave in--made hair soft and good prep for blow drying and flat ironing.

I am LOVING these products so far, my hair has never felt this soft and silky. :drunk::

I like Lacio Lacio because it's realllly moisturizing (although it contains protein). It also smells like straight perfume. It keeps my hair moisturized even after it dries and leaves a nice shine.

I was in a salon the other day and there was a delicious shampoo and conditioner...the salon owner mentioned the product was called 'milk....something'...I have done a google search and nothing came up, does anyone have any idea what it was, please?

^^they use a lot of goat milk products--it may have been 'la leche de cabra'..maybe look at sickbay.biz and search for 'leche' or 'milk'.

I just discovered and fell in love with lacio lacio! I just ordered 4--i'm sooo stockpiling :-)
I wish they still made the lacio lacio with mink oil...iwud have LOVED to try that!
xoxo

Was it Capilo Honey & Milk

It could have also been Milk and Honey or Leche y Miel by Capilo. Did they come in brown bottles?
