as you can see from the different graemlins i am full of different emotions. i dont know how or what i was expecting to feel. but it sure feels good to run a comb through this head of mine.
hopefully i wont be using the comb to often.

Madison,

I know that had to be a scary thing to do. It's all going to work out. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

WOW Madison. So You finally took the plunge. I know you've been talking about this for a while now. So what are your hair goals now? Are you gonna relax or stay natural? Whatever your decision, we're here for you and I know you'll be successful. Good luck and I know you'll keep us posted! /images/graemlins/smile.gif

i'm going to remain natural. i wanted to get my hair braided but i decided against that. so i will be going down to harlem this weekend to purchase me a wig.

right now i am stinking up the entire house with this glovers mane mixture . i have a plastic bag , silk scarf and a stocking cap on and my children are saying that i smell like bbq potato chips.

i will be locing my hair again sometime in the future. i had to cut my hair now i am going through so much personally and i felt that my hair was holding a lot of negative energy. in short i told my "husband" that once my hair is cut, so is he.

Congrats on taking the plunge. I know how you feel to a degree because when I cut mine I knew it was the best thing I did for myself. As short as it was it felt like a new beginning which I was more happy about.

Happy hair growing girl!

girrrrl, yall and that glover's.. lol! /images/graemlins/crazy.gif

congratulations on ALL of the positive changes in your life, madison! i haven't had locs, but i definitely know that feeling of freedom...

Go go BBQ Chip Girl!!! LOL So, how long are you going to let it get before you start locking it again?

Congrats, feeling you on letting go of the negative thing...keep on keeping on...peace, love and happiness...

Good for you, Madison! I don't know how long you've had your locs but it must have been a huge psychological step for you. Whatever it takes to get rid of any negative energy in your life, so be it. Good luck on your hair journey, and here's throwing lots of positive energy your way!!

I will be locing up my hair a few months after my divorce is final!!! i cant wait for that to happen. this piece of shyt man had the nerve to tell me that i look ugly with my hair cut. i said im so happy you feel that way because my MAN thinks i look absolutely beautiful. /images/graemlins/smile.gif

and i think i found a way to mask that funky odor from this bbq sauce. i mixed it in with my msm lotion add a little peppermint , jojoba and castor oil and apply it each nite and wash it out in the morning. since i bought my wig i can do the condition washes and apply my s curl moisturizer every morning before i leave for work and dont have to worry about catching pneumonia.

Madison, I wish you Good Luck in all your future endeavors. I know what it's like to be happy about freeing yourself from a bad relationship, I had to do it twice! He was probably just trying to be hurtful by saying your haircut was ugly. /images/graemlins/mad.gif I'm sure you look beautiful with your new cut! /images/graemlins/laugh.gif
