Hello Lovely Ladies of LHCF!
It's nice to stop lurkin' and actually have some input for once. I'm LadyFayard, and I'm a NEWBIE TOO! I'd been researching for a few months, stalking the threads, just wondering what I should do with my hair.
And wouldn't you know? I figured it out:
BiG ChOp...Virtually NO TRANSITION
I'd like to share a little of my story with the gift of PICS if you don't mind...

Can anyone spot why I was SO FRUSTRATED?!?!
Yup, that's right. My hair stayed the same for 4 years straight. Never getting past my ears. It was an endless cycle of: GROW, RELAX, BREAK, GROW, RELAX, BREAK, GROW, RELAX, BREAK. And no matter how many appts I had with my stylist (who does GREAT WORK btw, and will probably strangle me when she sees what I did.), I just couldn't maintain any length that I'd gain. Alot of people have B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L relaxed hair (the hair porn on here is INSANE!), but no matter what products I bought/time I invested, I couldn't give my hair what it needed.
THIS WAS THE LAST STRAW:
Can you see that? I'd spent hundreds of dollars on MOTIONS, and APHOGEE PRODUCTS, CHI and BIOSILK SERUMS, flatironed once a week (never blow dried, air dry only), watched EVERY ATEYAAA tutorial (still love her!), and my obssession got me that ^^^. A pile of dry, broken, dusty hay! That picture was taken after spending 1 hour with plastic cap on my head full of Deep Conditioner. Harumph!
Soooooo...I did it:
That reaction shot, always makes me laugh! But yes, I started from scratch. I'm not really looking for a relaxer any time soon, so I was wondering if you guys could help me out!
Tricks and Tips anyone? I don't really have much to work with right now (a wee bit of fuzzy-fuzz, I'm thinkin' I'm a 4b??), but I'd appreciate some help.
Thanks for checking out my initiation. Before I joined, I checked this place out, and I was really impressed by the amount of positivity, and I hope you enjoy experiencing this with me!
so...Do I get to stay?
