Bumping this old(ish) thread. I found it while looking for info on how to shorten my kinky twists, but now I'm inspired to keep them long. I just did my own kinky twists for the first time and I decided not to cut the hair. I didn't realize they would be THIS long! Imagine - the front is just past APL but in the back they are almost waist length and I'm 6 feet tall!
Earlier posts in this thread say they're not heavy, but they feel heavy to me. I may gradually re-do parts of them over the next week with less hair.
They do look impressive, though! I'm so proud of myself
I'll take a pic tomorrow after I crinkle set and curl them.

Has anyone done long, thin twists? I'd love to try some long kinky twists, but they'd have to be thin.
