I used up my Giovanni Conditioner and my ORI Leave-in. I would buy the ORI again, but I have enough leave-in for now. I'm so glad I tried this a few times. I was so-so on it the first time, but now i love it.

I'm giving my Ouidad co-wash away to my sister. I tried to stick it out, but it really dries my hair out too much.

I have a little bit of a JessiCurls Confident Coils sample left, but it made my hands feels weird, and I don't think it was really designed for my hair type. I'm going to see how it looks when my hair dries completely.

ETA: Nothing wonderful happened with the Jessicurls, so I threw it out.

I caved. Hydroquench had a 50% off sale so I purchased 7 products. But it was only $35 with shipping and I couldn't pass that up. But since her shipping takes sooo long according to previous purchasers I'm not going to put it on my list until they actually reach my door. :look: I may be able to use up 1 or 2 things by then.

I am washing tonight. Decided to go back and try the Hair One. Still like it but probably won't repurchase. I will probably try As I Am Cleansing Pudding next. Opened up the AO Island Naturals conditioner. Comparing it to AO Blue Chamomile. I like it. Not sure how they compare. Will need to do a side by side comparison.

Will use the As I Am Leave-In, sunflower oil and Double Butter to twist. So not using up anything this wash day.

I just dumped the rest of my naturalicious oil II. My misto oil sprayer; so that may help me use it faster.

faithVA I have been eyeing that Hydroquench sale.

@faithVA I have been eyeing that Hydroquench sale.

I don't usually buy online or do sales. But so far her products seem to work for me. So with this sale I figured I would buy everything I think I could possibly want to try and get it done with. And even if her shipping takes a long time it won't matter because I'm not in rush for it :ohwell: As long as I get it within a few weeks it will work. I have plenty of conditioners and leave-in to keep me busy for 2 month

My goal of course would still be to find something I like on the ground.

Putting the Shea Moisture Smoothie in the giveaway box. I need to leave it alone. I have tried it too many times  The As I Am Hair Milk may follow it. I have never gotten any hair milk to work in my hair. I will try it a few more times though to see what I can do with it.

Twisted my hair with the As I Am Double Pudding. Will know how I like it when I do my twist out in the morning. If it is just so, so then I will use it up and go back to the Taliah Waajid Curling Cream.

The combination tonight though was a win: Hair One Olive Oil, AO Island naturals, As I Am Leave-in, Sunflower Oil, As I Am Double Butter. My hair is nice and soft. :yay: Now let's hope my hair dries by morning.

I used up my Oyin Juices and Berries. It was ok, but I am not going to buy any more moisturizing spritzes. I like my own about the same that I love some spritzes, and more than others.

I bought a new Camille Rose Almond Jai Twisting Butter because I used up the last one. I'm about ready to dub this an HG product, but I'm afraid of commitment. I bought KBB's Super Duper Hydrating Hair Cream to use for comparison; but, thus far, nothing has beat my Camille Rose.

When I go pick up the Shea Moisture Hair Color from Target I am going to check to see if they carry the Camille Rose products. I've heard great things about it.

I haven't been a part of this challenge but I have decided to use up the products that I have. It is time to give rid of some stuff and use up some stuff. I know what my core products will be so I am good.

I m not even half way through a jar of sheAmla ,i doubt i ll use up all the butters. I don't know what i was thinking when i bought so many at once . Smh .
Tossed 1 donna marie product . Made my hair dry.

I made a lot of positive progress this week. Because I've decided not to buy any more moisturizing spritzes, I've converted glycerin, grapeseed oil, and rosemary oil to staples because I use them in my homemade moisturizing spritz, along with some other staple oils.

I also repurposed my castile soap to use on my body because I'm a little afraid of using it on my hair.

I only have a little bit of Kinky Curly Knot Today and Curling Custard left. I don't even think I have enough Curling Custard for my whole head, but I'm going to do a half-head comparison with the III Sisters Curling Gelo that is supposed to be comparable. That should get rid of all three with my next use.

I think Rinse Out Conditioners, Deep Conditioners and another butter are the only categories where I would purchase new products, and I am on a no-buy for a while (unless Silk Dreams has a sale ). I want two products in each category so that I don't have to panic if a product undergoes a formula change or gets cut.

I have one use left of the Giovanni Nutrafix Reconstructor. I will mix it with the Claudies Avocado Intense DC, oils, agave nectar and glycerin for my upcoming steam session and then its gone :( (stuff is delicious).

I'm in of course! I'll be back later to list my stash.

It was wash day but didn't use up anything. Oiled my scalp with NJoy's growth oil and put As I Am Hydrating Conditioner over that and baggied. Near the end of the As I Am Conditioner so will use that up next week. I cowashed with Deva Curl.

Used As I Am as my leave-in, followed by apricot oil. I just have a few uses of the apricot oil. I sealed my ends with the Qhemet Twist Butter. I twisted my hair with the hydroquench 5 day moisture. I will use the Qhemet Twist Butter up next week.

It is time to start focusing on what I can use up this month to bring my stash down.

I put a nice dent in my Trader Joes' Tea Tree Tingle this week because I have been working out everyday. I'm really loving this conditioner. I probably have 1-2 uses left and I may make this my go-to Rinse Out, but I'm not going to repurchase until I run through some of the other rinse outs in my stash. I'll miss it once it is gone.

I was looking back at my original post and remembered that one of my goals was to use up my samples, so this week I tried my KBB Sweet Ambrosia sample. This is wonderful! Before the sample runs out, I'm going to have to do a head-to-head between this, my Curl Junkie Smoothing Lotion and my Oyin Hair Dew to see which is better. It already has the lead because it is the only one I can purchase on the ground.

Over the next few weeks, I'm really going to try to focus on whittling down my samples. I think I have 12 left, and some are half used like my KBB Sweet Ambrosia and my KCCC.

I used globs of Aussie moist and just found out i love it, it made detangling under the water a BREEZE! I might repurchase, but don't know what conditioner I will use globs of next week, I'm think I'm about tossing Burt bees Brazilian nut moisture, it doesn't do anything actually reminds me of a cleansing conditioner, it doesn't add moisture but also gives a clean feeling, I might use it as that hmmm. I think Aussie might be better than tresemme naturals. I can't wait to get my stash down, I will be so happy, but like I said Aussie might go as a staple, and its cheap too, win win for me :)

I used up my Desert Essence Coconut Conditioner. I won't repurchase. It was too thick for me. I gave away the Desert Essence Coconut Shampoo. It was too drying, and it lathers alot, which makes me wonder what is in it.

ETA: I forgot that I gave my Suave Naturals Coconut Conditioner to my hubby. He was so excited because it was the first product in my stash that he recognized

My stash is slowly but surely going down...

1. What are your motivations for joining this challenge?
Want to not only use up my stash, but just use my variety products in general. I find myself "saving" the good products for later, but later never comes so I end up hoarding stuff. Also, as my hair gets longer I naturally need to become more heavy handed with stuff because of more length to cover.

2. List the products you hope to use up in your stash. Use your own categories.
I don't really have a list of products I want to use up -- just using stuff up as I go

4. What are your goal(s) for the session
Already recently finished a jar of Silicon Mix and a bottle of NTM Silk Touch. By the end of this session I would like to have finished one more leave-in, one oil, three more conditioners and one shampoo.
