Is it doing that again? grrrr. I opened it up. No password. I have not idea why it runs amuck. I haven't ever changed the password.

It's working again.

Thanks, you're right, it is very similar. Thanks ladies for all your help.

Really 'preciate it, and looking forward to styling it.

LOL, I love hair twins!!
HAHAHHA

I know who's hair to follow now. I can't remember the other lady that has lovely thick texlaxed hair.

I'm so excited to see what my hair looks like tomorrow now. And I think I'll be able to do this stretching thing, assuming that I was able to deal with my new growth for almost 2 years.

Y'all made me feel so much better!!

Cheers!
@Ella
You still find your hair hard to straighten? Do you blow dry or flat iron?
Still,it's gettin worse tough since I just texlaxed my hair about 60% the last time I relaxed as opposed to my usual 80%.
First I blowdry it with my blowdrier with combattachment and then I flatiron it.I tried flatiron it with a lower setting (currently I use 430 Fahrenheit) but my hair was kinda stiff afterwards:confused: .I don't do this often tough.I just got my flatiron for x-mas and before I always airdried.Since i don't wear my hair out often anyways I think I'll keep airdrying for the most part.

If you don't wear your hair 'out' how do you wear it? I'm just curious since we're the same length.

I'm just heading to the BHS and I'm wondering if I should do a protein treatment or henna, or both. :confused:

Do people usually do a protein treatment after a relaxer?

Oh yeah, and my hair dry, looks like a poor relaxer job.

I'm actually more pissed off today than I was yesterday.

I shoulda just done it my damn self.

My roots aren't even slightly texlaxed, it's like she skipped that completely, I'll take a picture and show y'all.

Have you ever self-relaxed yourself? Perhaps next time you should use a Mild relaxer. The quickest I've ever known someone to get bone straight with a regular relaxer was about 7 minutes. For some people, it may take them 15 min or more to get bone straight and for others, it may take much less time. Also, what was she using to smooth and how much was she smoothing?

Also, I don't know if you saw my reply to your other thread before you texlaxed but did you let it dry on your hair first before applying the relaxer? If you want to prevent your hair from getting as straight, then mixing conditioner or oils into the relaxer for instance will cut the strength of the relaxer (although for some people this will work better than others depending on how well/quickly their hair "takes" to a particular relaxer in the first place). But the purpose of silk itself is not to cut the strength of the relaxer (as in it's not supposed to make your hair less straight), it is to protect your hair from damage from the relaxer, no matter how straight you wish for your hair to get. Tishee texturized using silk and it came out well, perhaps you can send her a PM and ask her what she did the next time you choose to texlax.

I'm so sorry to hear that. :( Maybe your hair just took to the relaxer really quickly. When I texlax, I use a mild strength relaxer. I haven't tried all the mixing in oils and stuff yet and I'm happy with the results. And Navesgeda had a lot of good information in her post if you want to try it again. So sorry that you're unhappy with the job. Is it just too straight for your liking?

You will probably have to go back and properly texlax your roots, but have you tried any product on the length of your hair. I've used Proclaim Curl Activator Gel and Pantene Curl Scrunching Gel with great success. One of my friends who is relaxed straight even uses the Pantene when she wants to wear wash and go styles. Sometimes I airdry my hair in twists, just like I used to as a natural, and wear it in a twistout. It usually lasts throughout the week with a satin bonnet. Maybe you might want to try that before chopping your hair off. In fact, don't do it! I'd hate to see all that hair go to waste. Keep us updated, hon. *hugs*

I usually wear my hair up in a claw.

I twist it and tuck my ends in so that they're not exposed to the harsh drying winter air.
If I'am feeling bold I wear it with the ends out or in a ponytail.
I sometimes wear a 'combed out fro or just a wash'n go but it's more of a summer look for me.

Thanks sunshinebeautiful for all your suggestions!
@N,
I'm only sure that my hair relaxes mucho fasto and that was my problem. I just know for next time.

I guess I'm just transitioning to texlax.

And eventually I'll have to cut off the straight ends.

Thanks everyone, for all your help, I really appreciate it. I mean really
