Okay, so I'm in Big Lots today on my lunch (shipment day) and I see they're hiring.:look: I don't bit mo need another job, I get pd very well for what I do, but I got to thinking about the perks of working someplace like this: a) 1st dibs on new shipment b) 20% discount c) 1st dibs on new shipment:lachen:I was just doing the math in my head on certain products and I could be getting paid to buy White Rain conditioners etc for like $.62/ea. How cool would that be? Not to mention garbage bags and other dumb stuff like that...

What are some things you've done, or considered doing, in the name of PJness?

That is too funny! My mom was thinking about getting a part time evening job there and all I could think about was getting a discount on my goodies. The workers in there know me by name because I'm in there stockpiling at least once a week:look:They need to get some more bain de terre before I jack a manager up

Forgot to answer the question:lachen:
I make friends with the employees so I can get the low down on any new goodies

Hide items behind things so I can come back for them later...just shameful

...and it's folks like y'all that make me go look in odd places behind stuff for hidden goodies:lachen:Yea, that's me who moved/bought your stuff.

OT: ISIOMA love the earrings in your siggy:grin:

I got a job ... that's about it ... I figured being a bum and explaining to my dad I need $60 plus shipping for Horse Products and Yeast Infection Cream wasn't going to go well with him either ... so I got a job =)

:lachen:A job does help support PJ habits.

I know that I am an ultimate PJ. I order from infomercials, on-line shop, catalog shop, always looking for the next best thing. One day I went to get my oil changed and walked out on the Toyota parking lot. I almost drove off in a 2009 Camry.:lachen:God help us all:lachen:

:lachen:ROFLMAO my car was in impulse buy. Seriously. I was riding by and was like, I think I want a car today:look: My friend that was with me was like "WTF?! That's the most random ish I've ever heard in my life!"

PJ tendencies usually don't just end w/hair stuff. I was walking thru Big Lots today like dang, I could use a lot of stuff from here!

No you didn't consider working at Big Lots for discounts!!! Yeah, yous a pj! :lachen:

Me too!!! I'm GOOD to look through ERRYTHING on the shelf for something if I really want it. I'm talking, you need to hide your goods in another area of the store, cuz I will scoop it up. :lachen: :sekret:

:look: Yeah, I considered getting a job at Ulta - but I changed my mind because they are too far from home. BigLots, though, that ain't a bad idea at ALL.
Shoot, I need to see if mine is hiring.

:look: I thought it was a pretty good idea  I really don't know when I'd have time to do it, but shooooo...$1.84 for Sunsilk?! Garbage bags on the cheap?AND I get to see everything before it hits the shelves?! Definitely worth considering...

Girl you're not the only one. I got a Sally's app. th eother day. :lachen:

I worked PT @ Sally for 3 years. That was before I even realized I had a problem:lachen: I didn't even know how much I made an hr., I was just there for the discount :lachen::lachen:. I remember I said that to someone who'd just asked for an application. They looked @ me like I was crazy.

LOL @ hiding stuff! I just did that today and felt so guilty! Oh well, at least I ain't stealing it cause I WILL be back to go and buy it!

:blush:I did that too. Took my car in to schedule a service because it was acting up, drove away with a new one that same night.:blush: I was so ashamed I didn't want to tell people (In my defense, I had been scoping out new cars online)

-- and i will buy stuff from infomercials, tv and online, too. It's like my dirty little secret.
