I know I have a ways to go before growing back the 8 inches I cut and being natural, but it seems so far! :wallbash: I'm focused though. Need some good challenges to do for winter!

Pic # 1 = 8/24/09

Pic #2 = 10/1/09 (day after ends dusted/ wash/ light flat iron)

Bout 1 1/2- 2 inches of growth?????????? Anyone? :ohwell:

I think it's best to check for progress every 3 to 6 months. I think one month is too soon and checking so frequently can make you feel disappointed and frustrated.

Your hair looks very healthy!

True, I was over-zealous! Just can't stop looking at it and taking pics. Thanks! I love health over everything.

Here's a challenge.... KEEP IT SIMPLE!!!! Trust me.... that's a challenge all in itself. Just continue what you're doing until your hair stops responding. Don't go messing around, copying other people and doing too much at one time. Time will fly.

Hey there...not to come across as disagreeable...but I do see a little progress. This happened to me the one and only month I used MT every other day. I clearly had over an inch of growth. It looks like you did too. Can you take your new shot in the same sweater so we can tell more easily? (Don't feel obligated, though, if it's too much work for you to do that.)

Anyway... it was weird and has never happened since...and I needed someone to tell me I was not crazy. The ladies here were so helpful.

On average, though...it does take around 3 and sometimes 6 months to really see a length change, so I agree with the first response...but your hair looks longer and fuller at the bottom. I kind of see why you posted. I probably would have done the same just to put another set of eyes on it.

Keep up the good work, and we'll be waiting for your next updates!!!

Yes, your hair looks like its getting very healthy. What moisturizers/oils do you use?

THANK YOU! Don't really use oils. I use a small amount of Garnier Fructis Sleek & Shine hair serum when I blow dry and flat iron for a slight shine. I also have conditioner (leave in &/or full strength) in my hair AT ALL TIMES. I use moisturizing conditioners and shampoos so I don't have to use a lot of moisturizing products in my hair dry. I like my flatty to have swang, and b/c I have thick hair, I don't like it weighed down. My hair tends to hang onto and build up it's own oils.

Good advice! Thanks!

THANK YOU SO MUCH! That's exactly why I posted. I couldn't tell, thus the sigh. I'll do that tonight w/ the other sweater and post. Thanks!

Guuuuurll you are going to drive yourself crazy doing monthly checks. Put that ruler and camera down for at least 3-4 months until the next check in. Unless you are photographing style changes.

There is growth.
