Transitioners how often do you detangle?

I was just wondering how often everyone is doing a good detangling. I mean from root to tip. I plan to do this once a week to combat matting.

I have to do it everyday. My new growth is so much thicker and stronger than the relaxed ends for me to not do it.

I used to cowash my hair twice a week while transitioning. I did a DT and detangled (6 braids) each time I cowashed.

EVERYTIME I wash..............and with Nacidit avocado rinse

I detangle my hair everytime I wash it, and fingercomb in between wash days.
