I joined the forum to try to get the board's opinion on a possible third state of hair. I have lurked so long that I have learned many good habits and regimens that make it easy for me to simply not relax my 4A hair. I don't know if I am transitioning or trying to be natural, I just don't relax my hair. I am 26 weeks post. I BKT, detangle in the shower, rollerset or blowdry or flat iron. I don't see a reason to BC in the future, my NG is not yet a problem. Am I alone here, or is there anyone else who is in the same situation.

You are transitioning. :yep: Some people have transitioned for years. If the two textures aren't bothering you, you can keep the ends until they become a problem for you.

You BKT. If that is how you roll, we're down with ya!:lachen: I am scared to BKT because I'm fume sensitive. Do you want to be a strait natural via BKT?

I like the shine from the BKT primarily. I use the Softliss and I don't think it does much straigtening. It doesn't have any fumes in my opinion.
