List your favorite products that have saved or kept your hair this year or just gives great results. Maybe you found that product here or maybe its been a staple for a long time. Let us know what it did for you.

Here's mine

1. Long and Strong- its a liquid rinse out conditioner that stops my breakage. You pour it in and leave in for 2 minutes and rinse out. Its my super quick protein treatment. I hate ordering it online and the little bottles it comes in but it is great for a protein treatment. Gentle but strong.

2. Profective Breakfree- the purple one. - I love this stuff and I'll never stop using it to lay my edges down.

3. Mizani Headress creme Nighttime treatment- This is fairly new to me but Supergirl you were right about this. I didn't wanna pay the $18 bucks for it but it was well spent. A little goes a long way.

4. Biosilk Therapy Hair serum- All I can say is, all serums are not created equal. Shine and bounce.

My all-time favorite product, and a staple until i reach my ultimate goal, is MTG. It thickened my (fine-texturized) hair up and gives me 3/4" of growth per month. It's a keeper!!!!

Also, the Aceite de oliva (Olive Oil) shampoo by Capile or Nacidit, along with the Avocado Cream Conditioner for deep conditioning (also a Dominican conditioner).

Since I've been braiding and now weaving through my stretches...I would have to say African Royale braid spray. This stuff infuses my hair with the moisture it needs while it's braided up.

I would also have to say S-curl too. I've been using this stuff for various reasons for years. This year I'm using it for all of my takedowns. It helps to soften up and detangle my hair when I'm taking down my braids and weaves.

Also Humecto as usual is still working wonders for my hair.

My Top products would be...

My hair vits
MTG! ( I need to revisit this...my spray bottle broke for it)
NTM silk touch & serum
Lekair mixed w/ Evoo for deep conditioning

Elasta QP Glaze
Keracare Oil Moisturizer w/jojoba Oil (for protective styles)
MOTIONS MOISTURE PLUS CONDITIONER
Motions CPR

khandi I love your near pics...

my #1 product is..

silk elements serum....smoothed my wet ends with air drying perfectly, I get lots of product for lil money spent..I love the redken heatglide but I will not use that for everywash because it is so expensive, so silk elements saved the day.

also, I would say mixing a regular conditioner with water and infusium into a spray for leave in worked great.

Mega-tek (like ya'll didn't know that was coming)
Garlic Poo (Thanks Classyebonygirl)
Amla Oil
Henna Treatments
Silicon Mix (Thanks MonaLisa )
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Serum

Latest addition I think will be added to this list:

Qhemets Amla and Olive Oil Heavy Cream.

Nexxus Emergencee - stopped my breakage immediately
Silk Elements MegaCholesterol - the best deep conditioner I've tried

Sedal and Sunsilk hands down. Nothing else can handle 5 months of new growth. I use the shampoos, deep conditioners, and rinses. These are great.

Also, my all time favorite, Dudley's DRC-28. I just realized that it was a heat protectant too, no wonder it does so well for me.

The best blow dryer in the world - my Remington Tourmaline allows me to blowdry everyday without breakage.

FrizzEase extra strength hair serum - the best!!!

Clairol 5X shampoo and conditioner (discontinued but I managed to stock up).

Caruso steam setter.

Literally NO BREAKAGE.

Pantene Smooth Start Comb-in Leave in cream
Fermodyl 619 leave in
TCB Naturals relaxer (stoppped all that underprocessing I was dealing with)
Kenra Clarifying (tested my water and it was bad - killing my hair and skin - Kenra clarifying saved the day)

My list looks a lot like yours.

alma oil (overnight pre-poo)
henna
Keracare Moisturizers (the headdress and the moisturizer w/ jojoba)
Ion purifying treatment
Aveda DR line
KeraPhix

But I think the less poo and less manipulation is making a big difference too.

Products that has saved my Color Treated and Relaxed Hair Are:

1.Aphogee 6wk. Damaged Hair Treatment :)
2.Cowashing
3.Sealing with Oils: My Favorite is Castor Oil:p

1) Jane Carter nourish and shine and scalp serum; the nourish and shine is my holy grail moisturizer, it almost moisturizes to well and a little goes a long way; the serum is helping my repair and heal my dry itchy scalp

2) Keracare dry/itchy scalp shampoo- cools my angry scalp without sapping all the moisture out

3) Paul Mitchell super skinny conditioner- instantly detangles, I use to to "fix" conditioning disasters when my hair ends up all tangled and matted; helps me glide through newgrowth

4) ORS packets- saved me from two dye disasters with intense moisture and moderate protein

This year, I was happy to have been introduced (through LHCF) to the world of natural products...and they've really helped my hair, mainly when it comes to moisture.

1. Jane Carter Nourish & Shine
2. Shealoe
3. Extra Virgin Olive-Oil as a pre-poo along with a protein treatment
4. Jilbere Shower Comb
5. Rusk Sensories Smoother
6. Qhemet Biologics Alma & Olive Heavy Cream

For Me:
- Suave Professionals Humectant Conditioner (I use it to comb out on curly days and for Conditioner washes)
- Abba Nourishing Leave in Moisturizer
- Fantasia IC Gel with Sparkalites (thanks so1913)
- Keracare LITE oil moisturizer (with heat protecting agents)
- Keracare Silken Seal

The combination of the two keracare products has saved my ends. I love the Suave for CO wash days and when I wear my hair curly and need to detangle. And the Fantasia IC has allowed me to finally enjoy my natural hair...

And Abba Nourishing - I don't leave home without it. Literally. I even have a little tiny bottle of it in my purse that I use for those "just in case" moments.

Henna treatments! My hair was already in pretty good shape (I hit BSL last fall) and my only little issue was the greys coming in really strong but I didn't want to add another chemical process to my regimen so I was learning to love my grey until I started reseaching henna. Tried it and, OMG, it not only colored my greys a gorgeous golden red and the rest of my hair a dark mahogany reddish brown, but it conditioned and strengthen my hair something wonderful . . .

1.)Airdrying

2.)Breakthru Shampoo

3.)CO Washing (Suave, VO5 & White Rain Conditioners are among the best!)

4.)Indian Hair Care Products: Amla Oil, Henna, Powders, etc...

5.)S-Curl

6.)Washing hair, more often

7.)Using less products on my hair

Everything that I do to, and use on, my hair contribute to its overall health. My hair remains strong, thick, long, shiny and moisturized. I'm convinced that the above list plays a major role in that.
