At what point did you start trimming your ends and how much do you usually have taking off now? Any information would greatly appreciated :)

I probably had 5 to 6" of hair before I trimmed my ends. I took off about an 1" to 1.5". After wearing extensions my ends were in terrible shape. Now I only dust them when I can tell they need them. I trim my hair in very small sections so I dust 1/8" to 1/2" depending on what is going on with that section. I wear my hair in twist 95% of the time, so I can tell when they need dusting. I dust based on feel and not on schedule.

at almost 2 years post bc and bsl I have not trimmed and don't see any need to.

I had to trim just to even my twa up (I bc'd myself at 5 months). I was about 7 months post relaxer when I got the trim done. I think it will just depend on how even your bc is and how well you treat your ends.

i bc'd down to an inch and didnt start trimming until after a year. i really only dusted half an inch. and then right before the 2 year mark i trimmed about an inch.

i bc'ed to a low fade and didn't trim until after a year.

I still haven't trimmed my hair yet and it's been almost 8 months since I bc'd down to an 1 1/2" of hair. My ends aren't split or thin. They're a little rough but not damaged so I leave them alone.

I shaped up my hair @ 8 months post BC. Took off 1-1.5in.
