I finally got a backshot of my hair to show progress
I think I can claim BSL but I would like more of my strands to reach that length.
My ideal length would be MBL to WL and it seems like a slow go.
The biggest problem for me has been SSKs and I've tried everything to remedy them. Keeping my hair straight seems to work but I am also scared of all that heat. Any tips for growth and SSKs would be appreciated.

:congrats: :congrats: :congrats: I would definitely say claim BSL!!!! SSKs I think go with the territory of being natural...but I'm sure some of the ladies will chime in! MBL is not far away at all! Happy Hair Growing!!!

Congrats on your progress very pretty hair. As far as the Ssk's Ive seen improvement on mine after incorporating either a prepoo containing oil or doing an oil rinse (my hair loves coconut oil in particular) also keeping my hair stretched.

Congrats on BSL!!! I'm texlaxed and I still get SSKs occasionally :perplexed

Congrats OP. If you're natural, keeping hair stretched and low mani as well as regular dusting seems to help a lot of us keep SSKs at bay.

You are definately BSL! Congrats!! I keep my hair stretched a lot so I don't really have too many SSK.

Congrats on making BSL. Nice progress!!!!

What do you ladies mean by keeping hair stretched? Flat ironing or rollersetting? These ssks are killing me so :help:
